I can’t say it often enough..this collection of papers and collectables ( kaisercraft Christmas Wishes) is so easy to use, and only requires a ribbon bow or a bit of glitter to finish the cards, as you can see in these most recent cards. The top card is particularly interesting. The background layer was a sheet from the 6′ pad which I ran over with a distress ink pad, then wiped off, and the words appeared as if by magic!! It has a gloss finish. I think all the embellishments on these three cards are from the collectables pack, so no fussy cutting to do, and all background papers were from the 6″ pad. Day off today, I have intentions of practising my freehand watercolouring after I have done some paperwork…til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 7, 8, and 9
Continuing on with Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes, I used some of the matching collectables on the top card, and a few fussy cut elements on the lower two cards. On the top card I have used some Nuvo drops, and of course there has to be a card with a ribbon bow amongst the group somewhere! Today is the start of daylight savings here, the clocks have gone forward, I have lost an hour and I am running behind in everything! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 4,5 and 6…
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes collection pack, collectables and 6″ pad…Not much else required..a bit of bling, a ribbon bow ….thats it! The bottom card has a sentiment which is a Couture Creations hot Foil stamp which I did on my Go press and Foil machine and then die cut with a Seven paper Dolls die. When i have my Hot foil machine out I tend to do a few at once so that I have a bit of a collection to choose from on my desk. I have to say I do love my foil machine! I have been spreading the word about it , running regular classes at paper Flourish showing all the different things you can do with it, and some of the ladies have given me more ideas and uses too which I am looking forward to investigating. In the meantime, today is my craft and chat gathering and looking forward to catching up with my crafty friends for a relaxing afternoon. We may even get some crafting done! Til tomorrow….
It’s time for Christmas!
Today begins the official start of my Christmas card makes..and I am starting off with cards made with kaisercraft Christmas Wishes paper collection. I purchased the collection pack, collectables and the 6 ” pad, and I have made so many with this collection already. I will ( to alleviate boredom!) put them up 3 at a time and we will have a couple of breaks through out to also see other cards I have been making. My favourite card fold this year has been the double zig zag card so the first few are all in this design. Everything on these cards except for the bling has come from the listed supplies at the start of the blog, the collection pack comes with a sticker sheet which has come in handy for the strips across the smaller zig zag fold. I have done a little fussy cutting from some of the papers – the birds and the holly for example. Today is a day off but I am off to have a cortisone injection in my foot…not happy as I have had these before and they hurt!! I am hoping for short time hurt for long time gain! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Christmas wishes ..the last..
This is the last of the Kaisercraft Christmas wishes series for this year. I will put the rest away to start me off next year. The top card is another gatefold, while the bottom card uses up a few scraps punched into hexagons, inspired by the shape of the greeting which came from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper. The trim on both cards is from Stampin Up. I have cleared my craft desk of all things christmas for today and I am going to explore the possibilities with my new purchases…I think Graphic 45 to start!Happy Crafting, til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Christmas wishes 16
On my desk there is a myriad of bits and pieces, leftover from other projects, or die cuts etc given to me by my crafty friends, and I try to use them as they appear but sometimes the pile grows and grows! I am determined to get to the bottom of this pile and see my desk again,so todays card uses one of these bits.It is a die cut, I think it’s a cuttlebug die and embossing folder in one, and I have backed it with some patterned paper from kaisercraft Christmas wishes, and decorated with more fussy cutting from the same range.I survived my week of night shift, (glad it’s only once a year though) and as a reward to myself I popped into Paper Flourish yesterday and bought some new papers. Bo Bunny, Graphic 45 and kaisercraft all featured in my shopping basket! The Kaisercraft Ooh La La especially is worth checking out, I love it! Til tomorrow….
Step it up!
We are back to Kaisercraft Christmas wishes paper collection, and I did something a little different here. The top card is quite simple, with just a little layering ( the gold doily is fussy cut from one of the papers), while on the bottom card I have used exactly the same papers and images but stepped it up a little by adding a little more layering and a lot more trim ( all the trims used here are from Stampin Up)Still working the night shift, and life here is all topsy turvy! One more night to go and then thankfully back to normal! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 13, the last..
Todays card is the last one ( for now) in my Kiasercraft Christmas wishes series. The pretty background paper is from the 6″ pad,as is the greeting, and I fussy cut a pointsetta from a piece of 12 x 12 paper , layered it up, and popped it on top of a couple of collectables.Tomorrow we will take a little break from christmas makes, but for now I am off to put my feet up after a busy day at work! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas wishes 11 and 12
Nearly finished the Kiasercraft Christmas wishes series..one more to go after this one! ( for now!)The card on the left is another gatefold,I used the scalloped edge in the 6″ pad, and papers from the same pad to decorate. A fussy cut bauble from a 12 x 12 paper and some gold twine to finish. the card on the left almost looks like it’s from a different collection, but it is still Christmas wishes, and just goes to show how many different styles you can make from this one collection. The good news for today is that I found my camera!! I have also coloured my dogs, and completed my orders,so that just leaves time for some more christmas card makes. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes number 10..
someAnother Gatefold card today with Kaisercraft Christmas wishes. Today I have used a bit of everything from the collection – 6″ pad for the layers, a piece of the 12 x 12 for the verse inside, some fussy cutting from a 12 x 12 paper for the baubles, as well as one of the collectable baubles, and another couple of collectables on the lower right hand side. This weekend I am looking forward to…doing some orders, making more christmas cards with some new papers, colouring my tim holtz crazy dogs..and finding my camera which has been missing for over a week, and I can’t take any photos in real time and upload them without it!If I haven’t found it by the end of the weekend I will have to buy a new one! Who knew I was so reliant on it? Til tomorrow….
