This card is the second village card I made with the ladies a couple of weeks ago.The cardstock is Stampin up, and the glitter die cut is a kaisercraft die and kaisercraft gliter card. The Merry Christmas and the pointsetta dies are Kaisercraft.I backed the glitter flourish circle with a plain die cut circle, and scattered a bit of bling. I have ventured into the craft room today, die cutting is out of the question, but the lure of so many new papers that I haven’t been able to play with is too much! I am creating with Kaisercraft Ooh La la, – I bought a class in a box from paper Flouirsh and there are enough bits and pieces in the box that I don’t need to die cut anything so it’s all good. Last months village lesson part 2..
As promised, here are the other two cards the ladies made last lesson over at the village. The focus was on die cutting, and the dies we used were Kaisercraft dies. For the top card the daisy die was cut twice – once on green cardstock and once on patterned paper, then we cut the flowers from the patterned paper and stuck them on the green cardstock.A doily die was used for under the flower. I always try and sneak in a male themed card, which is the bottom card.Again kaisercraft dies, and a stampin up boat stamp underneath, die cut in a circle once stamped to sit behind the ship wheel die.A silver brad in the centre of the ship wheel. That’s another month gone, March already and officially the start of autumn – ( here anyway – our northern hemisphere neighbours are welcoming spring) and I am looking forward to cooler weather. It’s been a very long summer this year.Til tomorrow….
last months village lesson card
Today as I am finishing off the preparation for next weeks village lesson, I thought I would show you what the ladies made last lesson. This one is the first, and tomorrow I will post the other two cards. The pretty white background paper is a specialty paper, already embossed, and with a lovely shine to it, and the dies ( for the leaves and the border were from kaisercraft. the bird is my trusty stampin up bird punch, and the sentiment is Stampin up Curly cute stamp.Just a bit of ribbon to finish.Roast in the oven for lunch, housework done and now before I sort out the vegatables for steaming I must pop out and wash my car which is lost under a layer of red dust! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Sail Away 4 and 5
Kaisercraft sail Away paper collection, this time using the 6″ pad for both these cards, and I think the same dies as I used on the previous cards. On the top card I added a button and bakers twine and on the bottom card I just added some silver twine. The plain cardstock is from stampin Up. I taught a class today using thisĀ collection and all the ladies seemed to enjoy it, I think it’s because the colours are lovely and clear – quite often mens papers are muddied and distressed looking, and also it’s nice to move on from christmas cards!Til tomorrow….
