Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose 16 .. the last…

IMG_8886 (Medium)This is the last in my Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose series – I am sure I must have used all this paper!! This card uses paper from the 6″ pad, and a couple of the collectables from the same range. I tied a few flowers together with ribbon to form a bunch of flowers and attached a charm to finish. Family day today so I haven’t been in the craft room, but I am heading there as soon as I have cooked some dinhner! Til tomorrow…..

porcelain Rose number 14 with acetate…

IMG_8884 (Medium)This card is a little different… although it doesn’t show up too well in the photo the bird on the front is actually swinging on a strip of acetate. I sandwiched the acetate between the card front and the patterned paper. The paper is from the Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose 6″pad and the bird is from the matching collectables.I really liked this effect and will be doing it more often – I can see it working for male themed cards with a plane flying by, or kids cards with balloons or kites …We lots of cards to photo this weekend, but have realised I have been a bit naughty and made all these cards without the inserts, so tonight i will be busy making inserts..sigh…Til tomorrow….

Porcelain Rose number 13

IMG_8883 (Medium)I purchased a few Kaisercraft Kaiserfusion markers, and this is my first attempt at using them. The paper collection is Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, and the stamps are from the same collection.I used Stampin Up Framelit labels collection Dies, and added a little ribbon bow to finish. I am quite impressed with the markers, and I am slowly building up my collection and will continue to practise!I am battling a cold just now so not feeling 100% and have had a couple of days off work to try and recover – It seems the fresh sea air on last weekends mini break did me more harm than good! Til tomorrow…..

Porcelain Rose number 12

IMG_8882 (Medium)A little while ago I went back to some previous paper collections and made some more cards with them ( to try and use up the paper to make more space for new stash!) so over the next few days I will post the results – this card is made using Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose paper collection – here I used the 6″ pad for the base, and a sheet of 12 x 12″ paper for the top layers. The rose border is from the sticker sheet and the bird image is from the collectables. Stampin Up sentiment stamp, pearls, and ribbon to finish.Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Porcelain rose 10 and 11 – The last….

IMG_5848 (Medium)Quick post tonight, as Tea is cooking as we speak! Here are my last two cards made using Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, so tomorrow we move on to something new! I made good use of the collectables for these cards, used the 6″ pad for the backgrounds, and created a little scene using the border strips, chairs , flowers and tags ( which I used as pictures on the wall) I loved working with this collection, the colours were so varied, and the range of cards I made all looked different. I have none of these cards left now as they all sold at my craft fair stall.Off now to dish up tea, Til tomorrow….

Porcelain rose number 9 with acetate

IMG_5847 (Medium)This one was a hard one to photo so i hope you all get the general idea! I used Kiasercraft Porcelain Rose paper, and the gorgeous sheet of acetate that was released with this collection. The 12 x 12 ” acetate has a beautiful pattern all the way around it, with roses, and birds so I did this design a few times using every inch of that acetate! I cut the front of my base card off and replaced it with acetate, while inside I lined the card with paper, and added a little pocket with a journal card from the matching collectables so that you can write a message to the recipient. Back to work for me today, so bit tired tonight, and a night in front of the tv is all I will be up to! Til tomorrow…

Porcelain rose number 8, Anniversary card

IMG_5843 (Medium)I hope you are still with mme – this group of cards has been bigger than I thought! Still with the Kiasercraft Porcelain Rose paper, this time the 6″ pad and collectables, with just a little ribbon and kindyglitz to finish. A different colour  again, but I love the background paper. I have been out this morning teaching a class, great time was has by all – especially me- they are very entertaining, my ladies! And now I am back in the craft room, still working on my lemon/grey cards.Til tomorrow….

An Engagement card today..

IMG_5842 (Medium)I made an engagement card with Porcelain rose ( kaisercraft) paper and a couple of the matching collectables. The die used is Spellbinders floral oval, and I added daisy trim and clear rhinestones to finish. I do like the black white and red colour scheme on this one. I have been busy in the craft room today, with more than one project on the go  which is unusual for me – I do like to finish one ideas before I move on, but so many thoughts swirling around I had to get them all down and still have one colour scheme to try. lemon and grey – I think it will look ok but we will see! the other things I have been up to are two pieces of canvas art which are drying as we speak and quite a few cards using kaisercrafts new true Romance papers – gorgeous soft pastel colours on that one.Til tomorrow….

Porcelain Rose number 6

IMG_5841 (Medium)Quick post tonight, as tea is cooking as we speak!  Really quick card to make too – Porcelain Rose paper ( 12 x 12 corner piece) and a couple of collectables from the matching pack ,a bit of kindyglitz and thats it! today I have been working on some fathers day cards, and baby cards, and tonight I am going to spend a little time preparing a couple of canvasses for some ideas I have. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose number 4

IMG_5837 (Medium)There’s that bird again – isn’t he gorgeous? The paper is  a piece of the 12 x 12 paper from Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, and the tag is from the matching collectables pack. I stamped the sentiment with a stampin up stamp and added a blue flower ( kaisercraft) and kindyglitz to finish. I have had a very productive day in the craft room today, just sitting and experimenting with some stamps, and mucking about with different colour combinations – very satisfying. My holidays have flown by and I can’t believe it’s back to work next Tuesday for me! For now though, I must go and pack my class bag as I’m teaching tomorrow – so looking forward to seeing my ladies!
