This is the last in this series for a little while because I feel in the need of something frilly, and blingy! Kaisercraft Sears & sons paper and collectables for this one, and I swiped all the edges with my tim holtz weathered wood stamp pad. A bit of string around the top for the bunting, and all stuck onto Stampin Up not quite navy cardstock.I have prepared all my market boxes, and I have a terrible feeling that after Sundays market I will be making more fathers day cards. I thought I had enough, but have already sold quite a few, so next week it’s back to mens cards!I have a village class tonight, and we are making christmas cards, so quite looking forward to that. Til tomorrow….

My favourite Fathers day card
This is my favourite fathers Day card, so my boys will be giving it to their Dad so that it stays in the house! The cardstock is Stampin Up Not Quite Navy, and the paper and matching collectables are Kaisercraft Sears & sons. I added a little sponged walnut ink to the hat to age it a bit, and cut the letters out using my cricut machine and Songbird cartridge ( the letters were cut at 1 1/2″). I just added googly eyes to finish off my face! I will spend a little time in the craft room tonight doing some orders, but I really have to start thinking about christmas cards.I still have a bit of leftover paper from last year to use before I stock up on all the new releases coming out next month… great excitement…. Til tomorrow..
More new stuff, and a Fathers day card…
Over the weekend I have been experimenting with a great find! It’s called Viva precious metal. It comes in a little bottle, and you apply it with a sponge to die cuts etc, to achieve a wonderful metallic colour. On this card I have applied the Bronze to a spellbinders Sprightly Sprocket die, and teamed it up with the great new papers and collectables from Kaisercrafts new release – Sears & Sons, and some stampin up early espresso cardstock. This paper is fantastic for masculine cards, and just in time for Fathers day. Over the next couple of days I will show you what else I have done with this paper, and my new paints! Til tomorrow….
