While looking through my files to post something tonight I found a card that never made it to my blog when I made this series. The paper collection is Kaisercraft Secret Admirer, and it was a favourite when it was released.I think I still have some left, but always full of good intentions to get back to paper collections , it hasn’t happened yet! I teamed the paper with the matching collectables for this card, and added some ribbon and rhinestone strips and butterflies punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I have been in the craft room in the evenings this week fulfilling some orders, but tonight is T.V. Night! til tomorrow…..
This card came about at the end of a productive card making session, when I had lots of strips left on the desk, and so I turned then into long banners, and added a collectable from the matching kaisercraft secret admirer range across the top. the papers are all from the 6″ pad, and I added some gorgeous kaisercraft flowers, a punched butterfly, bling strip and pearls to finish.Still have more cards in this series to show you, but I think tomorrow we will take a break and move onto something else for a few days.I have had a lovely day off work, and spent a few hours in the craft room. I have lots of ideas buzzing around, and can’t wait to get back in there to create some more! Til tomorrow….
I am sorry I have been a bit of an erratic blogger this week, but we have had terrible trouble with our internet provider. hopefully its all sorted now, and here we are with todays post! Still using Kaisercraft Secret admirer collection, and I made a banner to go across the top, tied with pretty white bows. I used kaisercraft bling strips as flower stems, and some kaiser craft resin flowers – I love these! The cardstock is stampin Up melon Mambo. I have been busy in the craft room this week putting together a 20 card order, but that’s done now, and I am going to find my graphic 45 songbird collection and make some cards with that, I barely touched it when I first got it, so can’t wait to really get stuck into that! Til tomorrow….
Here is number 8 in my kaisercraft secret Admirer series. I used the 6″ pad and matching collectables for this one, and I also used the secret Admirer doily stamps in the top right and bottom left corners. I layered various collectables, and added some bright pink ribbon and kaisercraft rhinestones to finish. Today Nathan and I have been filming a you tube clip on how I make my card in a box box, which hopefully I will post tomorrow . He has to try and edit out a bit of background noise – normally we have the house to ourselves when we do our clips, but not the case today, and it was a bit noisy – even though they were all told “quiet on the set”!We will see how it turns out – you may have to ignore assorted barking dogs etc.. Til tomorrow….
This is an early post today – I missed yesterdays as we had problems with our internet – it’s amazing how that brings most of the household to a grinding halt ! Todays card uses Kaisercraft Secret Admirer 6″ pad and matching collectables- this collection was a little different – kaisercraft brought out 2 different collectables packs, one of which was mainly die cut doilies, and its this pack that I used here. I tucked one behind a panel from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and used the other as abase for my group of martha stewart punched frond leaves, flowers and ribbon, and slid a Prima hat pin behind. Til tomorrow….
This is the last in my kaisercraft secret admirer series, I have put it all away until I can use it with the 6″ pad, which is still elusive! The background paper is a 12 x 12 sheet, and I used some of the collectables to make the bunting and the sentiment. other goodies used here are – flowers, ribbon, perfect pearls and a doily.Very hot day here today, so I am off to make salads for tea! Til tomorrow….
Hi all, sorry I missed yesterday, but life got away from me and I ran out of time! Hopefully things settle a bit after Christmas! So today we are still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper from Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection and the matching collectables, and here I have stamped my greeting on the centre of one, and arranged a few to the left of the card. Added some flowers ( kaisercraft) a punched butterfly, pearls and some gorgeously bright pink ribbon.I taught a small class today – too close to christmas for a lot of people – bought some beautiful do- crafts art deco die cuts and paper, and have spent a lovely afternoon creating – just what I needed! Til tomorrow….
Here is number 3 in my kaisercraft Secret admirer series. Again I have used the same sheet 0f 12 x 12 paper, and a collectable. The butterfly is punched with a martha stewart butterfly punch, and I added ribbon and pearls to finish. Quick posts this week, as I am very busy at work, and shattered by the time I get home – no crafting this week! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Secret Admier number 2 – still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper as yesterday, and the bike, frame and sentiment from the collectables pack. I just added a couple of kaisercraft sparklets,,ribbon and kindglitz to finish. great class with my Mature ladies today, back to my real job tomorrow! But at the moment I am creating beach themed cards in the craft room as the weather is still quite hot here and beach type cards seems the way to go! Til tomorrow….
Nathan got out his camera today and we took some photos so I have a lot of very recent cards to show you all over the next couple of weeks. The first group are all made using Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection. I haven’t yet been able to purchase my 6″ pad as there has been a little hold up with availability, so I have been using the 12 x 12 papers and on this first card I also added some ribbon, pearls ,lace and kindyglitz. The butterflies are die cut with Cheery Lyn Exotic Butterflies, and the sentiment is Stampin Up perfectly penned. I am off to the craft room for a couple of hours to unwind after a very busy and stressful week! Til tomorrow….
