Kaisercraft silver bells number 1.

IMG_2854 (Medium)Today we make a start on my Kaisercraft Silver Bells collection. I have made a lot with this collection, so we will probably divide the viewing into a few groups over the next few weeks so as not to bore you all to tears!I bought the 6″ pad, a sheet each of the 12 x 12 papers( one of them is a whole sheet of baubles which I fussy cut out) and a packet of the collectables. This particular card is stampin up cardstock,a layer of 12 x 12 paper, and a couple of the collectables. I inked all my edges with tea dye distress ink, and added a piece of ribbon and lace to the bottom. The sentiment is from a piece of the 12  x 12 paper. Most of these cards will be kept for my personal use as I really love this paper! Til tomorrow…..

Brand new cuttlebug/bigshot card

IMG_5104 (Medium)I came up with this card at short notice for a lesson.I used pearlescent cardstock ( for the card base) and pearlescent paper in the same shade of pink for all the embossing and die cutting. punches used – martha stewart lacy border, leaf, and branch , and the flower die is a new release from kaisercraft. I added flat backed pearls in the centre of the flowers. This card was actually so simple, but looks really effective in real life with the shimmery card and paper. A gorgeous day here in adelaide, so we are all off to a bbq lunch in the park..must dig out my sunscreen and hat, at 29degrees celsius our winter skin may get a little burnt! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft little One…baby boy card.

IMG_9545 (Medium)We are jumping all over the place this month, but I found a baby Boy card I made with kaisercraft Little one paper and collectables that I forgot to post.I used and elephant collectable on a card front from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper and glued on some buttons, fibbon bow and linen thread.Love the elephants in this collection! Today I was over at Mum and dads and put together some cards which I will finish in a couple of weeks when I go to our ( a few crafty friends and myself) craft afternoon get together. I have decided if I have everything ready to stick together I might actually get something done rather than just chat the afternoon away, although that is fun too!I have a few orders to do tonight and I want to get them done quickly because I have a big bundle of new stampin up stuff to play with. The Christmas papers are gorgeous and I have many ideas for them. Also have lots of new stamps, ribbon, embossing folders and dies.Today has been a glorious day here in Adelaide, and I have even had the air conditioner on for a little while, that’s the earliest in the season it’s ever been on so I wonder if we are in for a long hot summer?Til tomorow….

simple Christmas card and a step up..

IMG_9572 (Medium)IMG_9573 (Medium)Here are a couple of Christmas cards, using the same dies, but the top card is the simple version and the lower card is a stepped up version. The two dies used are Kaisercraft dies ( love them – they cut so well) Poinsetta die and season greetings die.(the lower card uses the merry christmas die) I cut the poinsetta from pearlescent paper which gives it a lovely sheen. the lower card step up…a layered white piece of cardstock embossed with swiss dots folder,a run of cream/gold ribbon, and a kaisercraft sparklet in the centre of the poinsetta. the piece of music patterned paper is a kaisercraft piece from one of last years releases. This morning all the mundane jobs done, so a bite of lunch, then into the craft room for a nice relaxing afternoon. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Botanica number 2…

IMG_9553 (Medium)For my second Kaisercraft Botanica card I used a lilac card blank, and did some layering and fussy cutting to finish. the word Friend came from another piece of the same collection. I have spent a little time in the craft room today and I have been making a few more cards with this collection,it is lovely. I have moved on now to some graphic 45 gilded lily cards because I havent made any with all the paper I bought in that collection and thought I had better get started! all in all a great crafty day! Til tomorrow….

IMG_9550 (Medium)Kaisercraft botanica collection is another collection that I invested in, but have had very little time to play with. A doily and ribbon bow to decorate. while I have a minute, I would like to thank all of you that leave comments for me – it is much appreciated! Blogging is a solitary pursuit, and it does mean a lot to me to know that there are a few of you out there reading my efforts! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Little One 2..

IMG_9543 (Medium)Kaisercraft Little one paper collection – the 6″ pad and matching collectables with a touch of ribbon! I really enjoyed playing with this collection, although i have only made a few cards so far, they are very different from my usual vintage style baby cards. Love the colours! today I am finally enjoying some time in the craft room, finding my chriatmas mojo. It’s all coming back to me! The weather here is very distracting, the sun is shining, the bees are buzzing about and blossom is exploding on some of the fruit trees, it’s lovely just sitting out in the garden feeling the sun on my face! til tomorrow….

I have done a little card making today, sorted a class for Ocober and have been playing with some new stamps. I am going to stamp out some more images and sit in front  of the tv tonight and colour them in ready for cards tomorrow ! til tomorrow….

IMG_9546 (Medium)IMG_9547 (Medium)Todays two cards are made with a few different items from my craft room – Kaisercraft blue Bay paper collection ( and I fussy cut the frames from the same collection) a stampin up tool set stamp set, kaszazz pocket stamp stamped onto denim paper by October Afternoon, and a couple of silver brads on the pocket corners.the greetings were stamps pulled from my shelf. Early start today, so early finish and now I am off to catch up on a little sleep – nanna nap time! til tomorrow…
