Fourth time lucky!

This is the fourth time I have typed this blog today . I don’t know where they are disappearing to but they are not on my blog! My techie support is not being very supportive, in fact is a bit annoyed with me but its not my fault! Anyway as I have said a few times now I am jumping about abit this week, but wanted to show the other two cards i made using Kaisercrafts new paper Blae and Ivy. On this card I also used Kaiercraft rub ons, prima swirl bling, Nestabilities label eight, assorted flowers and leaves, platinum liquid pearls and my little corner rounder. We had a good class today, and now I am planning my village class which will involve these kaisercraft papers. Til tomorrow….

Blae and Ivy

I admit I’m addicted to paper, so its always exciting when I see Kaisercrafts monthly new releases. This one is called Blae and Ivy, and it nearly defeated me as its not colours that I usually work with, but the cards I have so far made with it are my favourites at the moment! I couldn’t find any grey flowers, so I dyed some white ones using a drop of Tim Holtz Weathered wood distress ink reinker in a mister with some water and liberally spraying. I was most impressed with the results and will be using that technique again. I used my sizzix stampin up leaves die, stampin up basic grep cardstock, martha stewart lace doily punch, and ribbon, and when the card was all together I brushed some clear perfect pearl powder on the flowers to lift them a little bit. Today has been all about using up old collections, and many cards later I can say that I have no more kaisercraft candy lane left.. a bit sad really….Til tomorrow..

Mothers Day card

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you will see by now that I really got my moneys worth with the few pieces of paper and the 6″ pad that I bought – Kaisercraft Chanteuse – I’ve lost count of the ammount of cards I have made with it, but it must be over 30. On this card I also used a martha stewart butterfly punch and stampin up Early espresso cardstock and some bling and kindyglitz. Today I spent quite a few hours over at Paper flourish designing my June class, and had lots of wonderful interruptions including our Big Morning Tea, which involved chocolate cupcakes – Yum! Til tomorrow….

Candy lane

This paper is an older one from kaisercraft, ( Candy Lane) but I still had a bit of it and the matching chipboard to make this Mothers day card. I also used Stampin up cardstock, and a Martha stewart Lace doily punch. I love the bright colours on this one, its a bit of a change from the other mothers day cards I created this year. Tonight – more cardmaking! Til tomorrow….

More Mothers Day

Todays cards are more Mothers day cards made with Kaisercraft patterned paper – Chanteuse – and some bling and Kindyglitz. This paper has been a godsend for Mothers Day . I’ve lost count of the ammount of cards I’ve made with it, and all of them different. My final count of Mothers day cards made this year is 100!Not making any more! Nathan has been busy on the techie side and changed my photo on my about page. He took it one night when I was playing in my new craft room! He has also added a market button so my regular customers can see when I will be at the market next. Shopping tonight, so probably not much cardmaking tonight. Til Tomorrow….

Mothers Day ( only 1 week away!)

Today was Market day for me, and a very busy day , sold many Mothers day cards, and also realised that many people didn’t realise it was only 1 week away. I think because Easter was so late this year its mucked everyone up.So I thought I would remind you all! Todays card uses stampin Up cardstock, Kaisercraft Chanteuse chipboard and patterned papers, and a bit of bling and kindyglitz. I’m off to replenish my market boxes – Til tomorrow….

Anniversary/wedding/engagement

Todays card is a bit of a break from Mothers day cards – I used Kaisercraft Chanteuse patterned papers, Early espresso and blushing bride Stampin up cardstock, and used my cuttlebug to die cut the hearts. I have used this kaisercraft paper a lot this year for Mothers day cards, I love it! Have a queue today waiting to use the computer, so a quick post today .Til tomorrow…..

Mothers day card

Todays card uses Prima Madeline patterned paper and matching stickers, (again – but I do love this paper!)I’ll find something completely different for tomorrow nights post ,I promise! Was planning to sit in the craft room for an hour or two tonight, but I am exhausted after being at work today, so might just watch a bit of t.v. and have an early night. Til  tomorrow…..

(p.s. just noticed I also used a Kaisercraft rub on in the centre of the sticker.)

Easter Cards

Todays cards are the 3 cards my ladies made in my class on Friday. We used white cardstock, and bazill cardstock, some edges punched with a martha stewart punch. The easter Eggs were cut from a piece of Kaisercraft Bubblegums hills paper, and the floral strip and baskets were cut from a piece of Kaisercraft Nanna’s Kitchen. The baskets were run through a crimper. we also used a Stampin up greeting stamp – Well Scripted, and a little piece of ribbon.I’m back in the craft room today making more Mothers day cards but I can see light at the end of the tunnel, and think I will soon be able to move onto something different! Til tomorrow…..

Bubblegum Hills

Todays cards were made using Kaisercrafts release for last month – Bubblegum Hills Paper and matching chipboard. This is great paper for teen girls, with lots of different designs in the one paper pad. I’ve been busy this week making Mothers day cards, but tonight I’m going to do some stamping with my new Bo bunny stamps and papers, just for a change! I have also got an idea for a new cuttlebug card design which I’m going to try out. Til tomorrow…..
