This is the last Kaisercraft sail away ( for a while at least) and I made a gate fold card. The paper inside is from the 6″ pad,and I stamped a sentiment inside, used kaisercraft numbers dies for the age on the front, and a tag from the paper pad, button and bakers twine to decorate.I must make more of the gatefold cards, they are very easy to do, and you don’t have to worry about insert and verses etc, if you have nice paper thats enough!Quick post today, it was back to work, and I must now get the household organised. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft sail Away 14 and 15

Another couple of cards made with kaisercraft sail away – can you tell I really liked this collection? I kept coming up with ideas for it and I love the clear colours. The top card is made using the 6″ pad, and a bit of stampin up bakers twine, and the bottom card has some 12 x 12 paper on the background, with a die cut scalloped circle, and an image from the 6″ pad as the focal point. The braid running down the cards is from stampin up and I have had it for years – there’s a hint – always keep everything, one day it will come in handy!! Public holiday today, the weather is not so humid, all my housework is done, so I am off to the craft room! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft sail away 12 and 13

Some cards for males now, using Kaisercraft sail away. I have already made quite a few cards with this collection and I have a few more to show you all.The top card is made using a corner of one of the 12 x 12 papers, and adding a greeting from the back of the matching 6″ pad, and adding a charm . The bottom card has a piece of the 12 x 12 paper as the background, and a collectable from the collection as the focal point of the card. There is a strip of patterned paper across the bottom, and the chain above it is die cut using a kaisercraft die.I have cleared all my outstanding work ( finally) in the craft room and I will finally get some time to play with the new papers i have been collecting ! Great fun ahead! til tomorrow….
Last months village lesson part 2..

As promised, here are the other two cards the ladies made last lesson over at the village. The focus was on die cutting, and the dies we used were Kaisercraft dies. For the top card the daisy die was cut twice – once on green cardstock and once on patterned paper, then we cut the flowers from the patterned paper and stuck them on the green cardstock.A doily die was used for under the flower. I always try and sneak in a male themed card, which is the bottom card.Again kaisercraft dies, and a stampin up boat stamp underneath, die cut in a circle once stamped to sit behind the ship wheel die.A silver brad in the centre of the ship wheel. That’s another month gone, March already and officially the start of autumn – ( here anyway – our northern hemisphere neighbours are welcoming spring) and I am looking forward to cooler weather. It’s been a very long summer this year.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity 18 and 19.

Well I am glad to say we are back to normal after a few days of Nathan tearing his hair out, and muttering technical things that I didn’t understand! This is the last two cards I have made with kaisercraft Curiosity and I can’t believe I have made 19 cards with this paper, and I enjoyed making every one of them! it’s not often that I make that many with one collection, which just goes to prove I loved this paper. One day I will return to it and finish off the bits and pieces I have left. And the most amazing thing is I have used minimal extra embellishing. Truly a great collection. The two cards shown here use all 6″ pad papers and tags, some fussy cut bits and a collectable ( one of the butterflies).Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity 16 and 17
I’m back, but still a few glitches as you can see, but it’s better than it was!Hopefully by tomorrow all will be restored.Todays cards are still Kaisercraft Curiosity, and we just have a couple more do and then will move on. Both cards use the 6″ paper pad, and the images are from a 12 x 12 paper.the only extras on the card on the right are ribbon and a die cut from berry vine die ( kaisercraft). We had a very warm weekend, and a couple of birthdays in the family to celebrate, but I did get into the craft room for an afternoon and planned out a village lesson.I also squeezed in a visit to Paper Flourish ( I just went for double sided tape and 450 glue) and saw the new Prima papers which i just couldnt resist, so came home with lost of new goodies! til tomorrow….
More kaisercraft Curiosity ( 14,15)

Today we are back to kaisercraft curiosity paper collection and matching collectables.I was going to leave these for a little while, but I know that Janice ( a lovely lady from America) has scoured the net looking for this collection, and it is on her way to her as we speak, so I thought I would put up a few more ideas for her. These two cards are side stepper cards,( have I done a youtube clip for this style of card?) and I just needed the papers and collectables to decorate, although having said that there is a die cut ( Kaisercraft die) on the top card cut from gold card. It’s a lovely day here and a day off. the shopping is done so i am off to the craft room. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft curiosity card in a box idea…
This is the last of Kaisercraft Curiosity for a little while. I thought I would finish off with a couple of card in boxes. Most of the images are cut from the 12 x 12 papers and 6″ pad, and there a re a couple of collectables there too, but that’s it – no other embellishing required. The card on the left is earmarked for my dads 84th birthday next week,he loves seeing my creations and will enjoy examining this one to see how I put it together! I didn’t get as much crafting done yesterday as I thought I would, but saw lots of family members over at mum and dads, so it was a most enjoyable day.The weather here is so much better – quite cool and so I have popped a roast in the oven, I have missed my weekly roasts! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity number 12..
Kaisercraft curiosity collection, with a lot of fussy cutting from the 12 x 12 papers and just a ribbon bow for some extra texture. tomorrow will be the final two cards with this collection ( for now, anyway), and they are special card in a box cards.Today is the first day in quite a while that I don’t have any pressing engagements, and it’s lovely to just relax and fritter the time away! I have straightened up my craft desk, things tend to get piled on top of each other on there during the week and then on the weekend I have to spend a little while putting things in their proper place before I can start creating, but that’s done and now I am going to go and contemplate which paper collection I am going to create with today. It’s going to be a lovely day! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity 10,11….

Oops! you all saw the 21st card yesterday! I liked it so much I put it up again!!!( technical glitch). The paper collection and matching collectables is Kaisercraft Curiosity, and I did a bit of fussy cutting, and just added a touch of ribbon and lace. I am glad I decided to go back and use the paper I have because I haven’t bought any paper yet this year..( I know!!). So far nothing has grabbed my imagination, but I am hoping that changes when all the american new releases hit our stores.Meanwhile this morning i am off to teach a lesson, so must go and get organised. Til tomorrow….
