graphic 45 Secret garden number 1
I only bought this range of papers ( Graphic 45 secret garden) the other day, but I couldn’t wait to start creating with it. it is by far my favourite range of papers at the moment! This first card is very simple, just one piece of patterned paper onto my card base, a little fussy cutting of another sheet and some lace, stampin up trim , a flower and some leaves punched from martha stewart frond punch to finish.Still hot here, I taught a very small class this morning, and we had some issues with the glue drying too quickly ( thats never happened before) so once again, there will probably be no crafting tonight – I am a bit over this hot weather! Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up tea for two number 4
This is the last card using Tea for two designer paper ( stampin Up) for just now, and here, I have used very vanilla, basic grey and pink pirouette cardstock, ( embossed the vanilla with Stampin Up lacy Brocade embossing folder) and a couple of dies – spellbinders D-lites medallion four, and stampin up Dress up framelits. The sentiment is from my stampin up vintage verses set, and I added lace, ribbon, liquid pearls and a prima flower to finish.Today I bought up a storm buying lots of new release papers, and tonight I am going to spend some time going through them all, and fussy cutting some of them ready to use. Its still hot here, and it’s not good weather for crafting as the glue dries before you get it where you want it to go! Til tomorrow….
Prima Tea Thyme number 7
When I use 6″ paper pads, I always end up with 2″ strips left over, so for this card I used 2 of the strips, and ran some lace down the join. The paper , flowers and chipboard are all from the Prima Tea Thyme range, and I added a little bling flourish.I am making good headway sorting through my old papers, making the occasional card as I go, and collecting a little pile to give to my sister ( who has just started making cards) and my mum. I will have a little break tonight as I bought some gorgeous wool today, have dug out my knitting needles, and am going to start on a scarf ready for winter! Til tomorrow….
Echo park Love story 5 and 6
Here are the last two cards made with echo Park Love story.Although they look the same there are quite a few differences. Nathan thought we should play a spot the difference game with them, but really there are a lot! I have stamped the cameo image with a stampers anonymous tim Holtz collection stamp, and the sentiment is a hero arts stamp.I have added lace, liquid pearls, and some rhinestones as a necklace to finish.I have had a productive day in the craft room today, and cleared all my outstanding orders, as well as the upcoming family birthdays. Then for the fun stuff …. playing with some of my new purchases, and trying some new ideas. I have also done a few Easter cards – don’t let that sneak up on you everyone – it’s only 4 weeks away!Til tomorrow…..

Art Deco Style number 3
This the third in my Do Crafts Papermania Art Deco series, and tomorrow we move onto something a little different… For this one, I have stayed with the black/purple colour scheme, using black and wisteria wonder cardstock from stampin up. I used a Martha stewart border punch, and then just some black lace and a bit of bling to finish. I have been busy making cards for orders today, but I am itching to get started on the new box of goodies I got on the weekend from Stampin Up – hopefully this evening I will make a start on that!
