I have so many paper collections where I have only made a couple of cards and moved on, so my goal is to re visit these and get my moneys worth! This collection is an an older Kaisercraft collection called Limelight, and originally I had only made 3 cards with it so I have made another couple and this is the first of those. The good thing about going back to collections is that since purchasing I have gathered other bits and pieces that may work with said collections! A case in point here is the little ladybird – Nathan found a pack of 100 of these little cute bugs so you will see them popping up everywhere on my projects!I used matching collectables, flowers, and a couple of die cut leaves and lots of layers to complete this card. Til tomorrow…
Kaisercraft Rose Avenue papers from the 6″ pad, with the matching collectables, and an acetate butterfly that was found on my desk…I have used a couple of flowers, some lace and ribbon and I die cut a Kaisercraft border die. The green leaves are die cut with a Sue Wilson die and the white leaves are punched with a Stampin Up punch. To give the leaves some movement I used a flower shaper tool ( a tool with a little ball on the end and a new favourite tool for me!) to curl the leaves a little bit. Here we will take a little break from the Kaisercraft Rose Avenue collection and find something else to look at for a few days before coming back to it later …In the craft room I have been jumping from one thing to another, I seem to have lots of projects on the go, and my desk has disappeared under the weight of lots of on-going projects so it is time to organise myself!Til tomorrow…..
A post on the run tonight as it’s shopping night.. This is my second card using Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings 6″ paper pad. The flowers and leaves are Prima, and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the fern leaves. The greeting is a Stampin Up stamp.I of course also added a little ribbon! Til tomorrow…..
I have skipped ahead a bit in my photo files to show this card – we took some photos of my recent makes, and this was one and I couldn’t resist posting it, because it is my favourite for just now. The paper is My Minds Eye Lost and Found Rosy ( absolutlely gorgeous colours) and the bird stamp is Young Vermillion by Stampin Up . I coloured the bird by daubing brown , orange, and yellow ink onto cream cardstock, then stamping in dark brown, and cutting out the image. I added a little red onto his chest after cutting. On the card I added Prima leaves, assorted flowers and a feather. The greeting is Stampin Up Perfectly penned, also a favourite and you will probably see it more than once on my blog! Today I am playing with the new kaiser paper releases for december – also beautiful – and enjoying myself immensely! Til tomorrow…..
Once again having trouble blogging – not sure what the problem is, hopefully Nathan will get to the bottom of it soon! Tonights card uses Echo park off the record paper and sticker, nestabilities label eights, some lace, and a stampin up vintage brad. The flower is made by running the pages of an old book through my cuttlebug with a Stampin up Blossom party die., I coloured the petals with various coloured ink pads and held them all together with a gorgeous vintage brad by stampin up. Tonight I am spending a little time tidying up my craft room, it looks like a tornado has gone through it – paper etc everywhere! Til tomorrow….
