IMG_7861 (Medium)IMG_7862 (Medium)We are all over the place with this blog lately – I am trying to clear some files of cards that I just didn’t get around to posting with the rest of their collection and I think we are nearly caught up now! These two cards were made with Kaisercraft blast off 6″ paper pad and matching collectables. i fussy cut a little monster from some of the paper to peer out of the porthole in the rocket on the top card. Simple cards as there are no other embellishments on them . The cardstock is stampin Up. day off today, but so busy.. lots to do and not enough time to do it in! Til tomorrow…..

My Favourite stamped card!

IMG_1078 (Medium)I loved making this card! Everything I have used here is Stampin up products except for the button and script stamp. Cardstock is Night of Navy and Very vanilla, the stamp set is Countryside, and the inks I used were Baja Breeze and Night of navy. I wrapped the top layer with linen thread. Once I had stamped the script stamp on the vanilla cardstock I coloured it lightly with ink. There is a layer there that I ran through my card crimper to get that cardboard box look. I enjoyed making this card so much taht I made a another one in a different colourway with a different stamp and I will show that one tomorrow… til tomorrow….

I teamed it up with some prima Craftsman paper and a couple of brass charms. I distresed and inked all my edges, and also sponged the backgrounds. the cardstock is from stampin up, and After I stamped my images in versamark ink I heat embossed them for more added interest. Kaisercraft paradiso number 1

IMG_5847 (Medium)As the weather in some parts of Australia is so hot, I thought it only fitting to post  some beach cards. Luckily for us here in Adelaide the weather hasn’t been quite so hot, today has been lovely, but all the same I do feel sorry for those suffering the heat. The paper collection featured for the next few days is a release from last month by kaisercraft called Paradiso, and the main images on the cards all came from one of the 12 x 12 sheets. Thrifty crafting at its best because I made 6 cards out of this sheet! All I added here were a couple of buttons and some twine and a few of the matching collectables. The cardstock is some retired stampin up cardstock. This weekend I am working on some baby cards to replenish my market boxes. Til tomorrow….

Stampin Up male card number 2

IMG_3177 (Medium)Using the same stamp sets as the previous card ( Stampin Up The Open sea and Gorgeous Grunge) I made this one layer card. The ink pads used are Stampin Up cherry cobbler and night of navy, and I added a charm and some hessian to finish. Til tomorrow…..

Stamping fun

IMG_8881 (Medium)I recently purchased a new stamp set from Stampin Up – Six Sided sampler, along with a hexagon punch, and after i made the card on the previous post I took things a step further, and discarded all my patterned paper to make this card. I used 3 different colours – Smokey slate, bubblegum green and midnight muse ( cardstock and ink pads from Stampin up)and stamped a few hexagons onto cream cardstock  which I then punched out. I had a hexagon template so I inked through that and I punched a hexagon out of my top layer so that the greeting would show through. I tied a little bit of string through the hexagon to draw attention to the sentiment.I have an idea in my head now to do one like this in yellow/orange with some butterflies…….Til tomorrow….

motorbike card

IMG_5345 (Medium)Still on the male card theme, tonight I have used a stamp that I bought from Stampin Up along with some Stampin Up designer paper. The style is the same for both cards, I just mixed it up with the papers ans did a lot of matting! Stamps like these are very handy for those hard to do mens cards!Tonight I have moved my crafting to the dining room table – more room! and I have taken the heater with me so I am all set for a marathon crafting session. Til tomorrow….
