IMG_2966 (Medium)Bo Bunny Surprise collection, with stars punched out using stampijn up cardstock, and the sentiment on the left hand side card is stamped with a stampin up stamp.Cardstock is also from Stampin Up. My weekend has officially started, and so has my two weeks holidays. Whats on my crafting agenda this weekend? As I only have one more photo to show you in this series, first up will be taking photos of my latest makes so that I have something to post after tomorrow!I will plan out my July lessons, and then I think it’s time to get out the stamps nad ink pads to make some Mens cards ready for my craft fair space next weekend.. I think that’s it for now…. Til tomorrow…..

Sears and Son 5( mens cards)

IMG_8708 (Medium)I made good use of the collectables from the Kaisercraft Sears and Son collection on this card. String around the top for them to hang off, and a couple of Kaisercraft brads to hold the tag. The tag was die cut using a stampin up die, and the sentiment stamp, and cardstock were also stampin up.This is a good sketch for teenage boy cards, and it will be my go -to design for those really difficult cards! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft tropicana number 5

IMG_1167 (Medium)IMG_1168 (Medium)This is the last for now, of my Kaisercraft Tropicana series. There are 2 images here, so don’t forget to scroll down a bit to see them both! I used the 12″ paper and collectables for this card, and punched three circles down the front of the card. Inside the card I positioned three images from the pack of collectables, so that they show through when the card is closed. This is a card that was easy to make, but has a lot of added interset to it – you could completely change it around – use feminine paper and add die cut butterflies to the inside circles – this design has lots of possiblities, and I will be experimenting with it more when I finally find some time to myself in the craft room!  On to something else next post…. Til tomorrow….

Countryside number 2

IMG_7227 (Medium)For this second card I have stamped the water pump image with Stampin Up cajun craze ink, and distressed all edges. The little piece of patterned paper is from Stampin Up Well worn  designer paper, and it’s mounted on River rock cardstock, which is also the card base. The background is Stampin Up early espresso cordinations, and I used my Sizzix tim holtz  Bricked embossing folder and sanded it back.Thats it for today, til tomorrow….

countryside Number 1

IMG_7226 (Medium)helloo, and I hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas. For my next few posts I am going to show some cards I have made using a new stamp set from Stampin Up called Countyside. It is my favourite stamp set for men and every time I get it out I think of more new ways of using it!For todays card I have stamped and coloured the truck image with prisma colour pencils ( I am still practising with these, but they are going to be a favourite way of colouring once I get the hang of them), and have stamped a couple of stamps from other sets on the sides of my card in black, then coloured the whole card with distress inks. The dies used in the foreground are Grassland border by Poppiestamps, and spellbindedrs wrought iron .The cardstock is Stampin Up old olive.I ahve been out of the craft room for the past few days, but will pop in there tonight to start working on Februarys class cards. Til tomorrow….

spellbinders labels seventeen number 4 and 5

IMG_4277 (Medium)two cards today, a simple one on the left, and for the one on the right I die cut my label, cut it in half and placed the pieces on the top and bottom of my card. The images are from Kaisercraft Timeless collectables, and the paper is Prima Craftsman.Very hot day here in Adelaide, so won’t be visiting the craft room tonight – a night under the air conditioner is on the cards! The Open Sea fathers day

Found this one while browsing through my files – also found some different ideas, which I will show over the next few days- The paper used here is stampin Up designer paper, for the background, and the panel that I have wrapped the bakers twine around is kaisercraft from the Mismatched range. The Boat is a stamp from Stampin Up – The open sea set,and I stamped it in Choc chip ink, and then used an oval spellbinder to cut the shape out. Quick post tonight, as it’s shopping night – no crafting tonight! Til tomorrow….

Mens card ideas

I got a little distracted but we are back to my mens card series using Simple Stories Awesome paper. On both of the cards i used a Docrafts papermania stamp – happy Birthday, stamping it onto a few different pieces of paper and then cutting out the letters and reassembling it. I also used my spellbinders dies – Stars five and lacey Pennant for the banners and stars..Great paper for mens cards.Today nathan filmed me colouring my stamped images for a youtube video which will be up here tomorrow for those of you who have asked how I colour my stamped images.otherwise today I have been working on a secret project for my sisters upcoming BIG birthday. I have had this idea in my head for a while but found this week I couldn’t settle to anything so knew I had to sit down today and create it – it’s nearly finished I just have to find where I stored my hot glue gun…..
