This week I have continued on with my Uniquely Creative Steampunk safari paper collection, but used the gorgeous floral elements in pretty autumn colours.I made some flowers using book paper and Glassine to add and found some metal butterflies to add as well.I love the numbers die from Uniquely Creative which I die cut in rose gold cardstock. Sequins, and a touch of liquitex iridescent medium and they were finished. It has been a cold wet week here so lots of crafting has been done, and I have been trying out some new ideas getting the most out of my ink pads. More Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses…
This week I have made a few more cards with the Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses paper collection. I love our little Australian critters.. they are too cute! I haven’t added too much extra to these ones, the paper is so gorgeous on it’s own.. a little lace, ribbon and muslin ( frayed) and a couple of fabric flowers, and some lovely fussycutting! It has been a sunny week here so I have done a little gardening and sitting in the garden, but we are still not moving out of our comfort zone too much… til next time, stay safe….
Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses..
This weeks cards are so fresh the glue is not dry yet. I have been making these ones today… My friend Lydell did it again and came up with a gorgeous collection for Uniquely Creative called Gums and Roses. Yes, there are gums ( leaves) and roses but there is also the cutest little Aussie animals. I have added some die cutting, ribbon, bling and flowers, and enjoyed lots of fussycutting! Uniquely Creative Wise and Free
Today I have 4 cards that I made with Uniquely Creative Wise and Free papers. This is an Australian company ( although they do have some stockists in America) and it is close to my heart as friends of mine own it, and their designs are my favourite style.On these cards I have added some die cutting and flowers,a scrap of ribbon but thats all.It’s been bitterly cold here, and we finally gave in and installed a couple of heaters. It is toasty warm in the house now and everyone is happy! restrictions have eased a bit but we are still socially distancing and only go out for necessities as I have elderly parents and want to keep them safe. Kaisercraft Sunkissed 1, 2 and 3..
This weeks cards are made using kaisercraft Sunkissed..I thought after a week of rain and cold weather we could use a little brightness!We never complain about the rain though! All of these cards only use the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. I may have done a little fussy cutting, but nothing else has been added to these ones. My craft desk today is covered with ribbon, lace and flowers and I am working with some new Prima paper, so I am back in my comfort zone!Til next time, stay safe…..
Uniquely Creative Winter Rose 1 and 2….
This weekend i received my new Uniquely Creative Winter Rose collection in the mail, so everything was put on hold while I fussycut elements, gathered matching cardstock and flowers and started to create! These are the very first two cards I made, using papers, creative cuts, and on the happy birthday card a glitter die cut using Uniquely Creative Flourish die, and a clear dome in the flower centre. The second card is all ready for dads fathers day card.. being scottish he will love the stag! I am off now to make more with this stunning paper collection! Til next time, stay safe…
A Scrap of Kaisercraft..
During the great paper clean up I found just a scrap of a collection. It’s by Kaisercraft but I can’t remember the name of the collection, but I stopped my cleaning and made two quick cards just because I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the scraps. Lots of layers and a bit of fussy cutting, a handmade frame on the lower card and some perfect pearl drops on the top card. I hope you are all coping with isolation, I have had a cold this week so haven’t done very much. I’m feeling a bit better today, so I am heading into the kitchen to make a big pot of soup. Our local greengrocer is doing home deliveries and it’s the highlight of our week to get lovely fresh fruit and vegetables delivered to our door! Til next time, stay safe…..
More Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe..
Two more pretty cards made with graphic 45 Floral shoppe, and the journalling cards that were brought out with this collection. I have done a little fussy cutting, some raising of elements with foam tape, and added lace, ribbon and flowers. This week has been a horrendously hot and humid week, no-one had energy for anything, so not a lot done in the way of crafting. The humidity gets into the paper and everything feels damp!This week is promising to be a little cooler so normal activities can resume!Til next time…..
Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe..
Todays two cards are made with Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe.. lots of fussy cutting and a few pretty flowers .. so easy to work with these pretty papers. This week is still the ongoing job of cleaning out the craft room, I have found the rythmn now… a couple of hours of sorting out papers and a reward of an hour of crafting with found goodies! In between of course I am spending a little time coming up with new classes for my village ladies. Til next time….
