Todays Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane card is a side stepper card. I have done a You-tube clip on how to measure and cut/fold this style of card, on the right hand side bar of the blog you will see You-tube…click on that and you will see my you-tube channel with this and many other little clips I have done.Meanwhile for this one I have used… one of the pull apart cards from the 12 x 12 sheet,a couple of the matching collectable, prima and green tara flowers, kaisercraft leaf die,a small piece of a border from the sticker sheet, and a small piece of the dotty paper ( 12 x 12). I also did some fussy cutting for the stepper part of the card. The big news here is that I have left my job at kmart Aust.Yesterday was my last day after 36 years, and my workmates gave me a lovely send off. When I return from the cruise I will be working at Paper Flourish, the store where I have been teaching for 6 1/2 years. I will be surounded with crafty goodness! How will I contain myself? I am so looking forward to this new chapter! Til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane number 7..
Working with the blue shades from the Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane collection,I came up with this one which uses some dies and punches to make the flower, and a very old button from my collection to highlight the tag. The papers are from the 6″ pad,and I have layered a couple of the pull apart tags inking around all the edges with Tea Dye distress ink.I spent a lovely hour over at Paper Flourish today, browsing, chatting and buying, I bought a few more copic markers as I am trying to build my collection, and picked up some lovely papers from Bo Bunny called Petal Lane ( gorgeous papers in shades of soft pink and yellow with pops of black) and a new Kaisercraft 6″ paper pad called Hanami Garden which is a Japanese inspired collection. Now I am off to the craft room to create! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Cherry Tree lane number 5
I love the simplicity of this one! Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane 6″ pad and the 12 x 12 pull apart sheet from the same collection. That’s it ( except a ribbon bow and some inking around the edges).Even the shaped bracket and the sentiment came from the 6″ pad.Quick post today, as I am off to put my feet up for a minute after a busy day at work, and then think about what to cook for tea! Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane number 1…
Today we are starting a new collection of cards made with Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane paper collection. I love this collection, and the class I am teaching this week uses this paper too! This card has papers from the 6″ pad, and matching collectables on it. I have added some flowers, ribbon and lace ( I picked this lace up in an op shop in a country town close to Adelaide)Just a quick post today as I must go and organise tea, til tomorrow….
An order with new dies!
Before we move on to a new series I thought I would post a card I made for an order this week because I made it using some new dies I picked up from Paper Flourish. The white leafy flourishes and pretty flowers are dies by Paper Roses, the white flower is a memory box die and the butterfly ( an older die of mine) is kaisercraft. The embossing folder I used on the background is also kaisercraft. Just some pearls and this was a great card for using up scraps of cardstock, and I love those flowers. I left them flat on this card but you could curl the petals too for a different look. I am off to the craft room now as I have a few more cards to do for orders. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 5..
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 6″ pad and collectables for this one with a bit of fussy cutting!I did cut a frame using Kaisercraft rectangle dies, and layered up a doily and some collectables with sequins and a ribbon bow to finish. I have spent a lovely relaxing time in the craft room this weekend gathering my strength for this last week of retail before Christmas – really looking forward to my 4 day break at the end of it! til tomorrow….
Prima Botanicals with Butterfly 2
This card somehow got separated from it’s partner which I posted a few posts down… I used Prima Botanicals paper, and the butterflies were fussy cut from a sheet of Graphic 45 paper that was full of these gorgeous butterflies. I used a scrap piece of prima paper to cut randomly sized rectangles and distressed and inked the edges before mounting the butterflies on them. Today I have been playing with my punches, and have come up with some different cards using them, which I am sure will feature in a lesson or two soon! Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny Gabrielle
Todays cards were made using Bo Bunny Gabrielle papers, and just a bit of ribbon and bling.Gorgeous paper, but I haven’t got enough time to use all my gorgeous papers, and I really set a shopping record today over at Paper Flourish, where I was setting up my September class. I filled my shopping basket with lots of new collections including both new kaisercraft ranges, echo parks new victorias garden, some lovely paper from a new company called Fabscraps, and assorted new ribbons and bling. Very naughty, but boy I had great fun! Til tomorrow….
