This is the second to last October Afternoon farm Girl card. I layered a couple of papers, fussy cut one of the flowers from another sheet, and added two of the seed packet images. I finished with seam binding, and a wheelbarrow stamped from my Stampin Up Countryside stamp set. quick post tonight as its shopping night, til tomorrow…..

October Afternoon Farm Girl 6 and 7
For these two cards I used a couple of different papers in the October Afternoon farm girl range. I fussy cut the flowers out of one sheet, and teamed them up with the gingham papers and dots papers. I die cut a spellbinders scalloped rectangle, and used the resulting frame ( the rectangle will appear on another card soon) and added buttons, ric rac, seam binding, bakers twine, and a bit of bling and kindyglitz to finish. the end of the working week for me , and a couple of days off to play with my new hexagon spellbinders and embossing folders – can’t wait! Til tomorrow….
October Afternoon farm Girl Number 5
Number 5 in my October afternoon farm Girl series, and for this one I used a lovely gingham patterned paper to cover my card blank,and a strip of paper on the side, punched with a martha stewart punch, and highlighted with a little ric rac. three lovly buttons threaded with bakers twine down the opposite side, and I fussy cut the farm girl from another piece of the patterned paper.Thats the last of the animal images, tomorrow we move on to what else you can do with this wonderful collection.I taught a class this morning with my lovely ladies, and had a terrific time with them, as always. I came home full of ideas for my March classes, so have been creating in the craft room, and will head back there now while I am in the Zone! Til tomorrow….
October Afternoon farm Girl number 4
A very late post tonight – it’s been incredibly hot here today, and only now have I been able to sit in comfort at the computer! This is one of my favourite cards as it combines all the elements I love – fussy cutting,buttons, bakers twine, ric rac, the use of paper scraps ( the strip I used threaded through the gorgeous ribbon slider – not just for ribbon)The paper is of course October Afternoon farm Girl.And so to bed –Â til tomorrow….
