I have combined a couple of different papers here for this male birthday card ( would work just as well for Fathers day. From the base – Stampin Up cardstock – Not quite navy, the backfground paper and banner – Simple stories Awesome, the tag – stampin up naturals ivory, the denim pocket – october afternoon sasparilla. The pocket was stamped with my kazzazz stamp – large pocket, and then cut out – looks like the real thing doesn’t it? and I added craftworkcards candi and threaded the tag with stampin up bakers twine. This is a great card if you are giving a gift voucher because is fits into the pocket. Someone today was my 50,ooo th visitor – that’s exciting and what keeps me blogging – thank you all so much for continuing to visit! Teen boy cards number 2
Today I have two cards to show – both using October Afternoon Sasparilla paper on the base, and stars cut out using my cricut machine – wild card cartridge. On the left card I have used a book plate ( stampin Up) for the sentiment. On the right card I have added a length of wide twill binding ahich I stamped using white staz on ink, and buttons and bakers twine. The base cardstock is Stampin Up real red.You don’t need a cricut machine to replicate these cards – punches, dies or hand cutting the stars would all work! I have made great inroads into my lesson plans today, just a couple more to do, then the rest of the week creating to fill my boxess1 Til tomorrow….
