The last Authentique Pretty….

IMG_2618 (Medium)I saved the best for last ( I think anyway – this is my favourite), and I have put this paper away for now while I concentrate on chritmas cards for a little while.I did lots of fussy cutting for this one, and die cut a butterfly – spellbinders – added some rhinestones and a gorgeous satin ribbon.Paper is Authentique Pretty. Early post today as I intend to get some cards done this afternoon before it gets too bitterly cold in the craft room. Til tomorow….

Authentique Pretty number 4

IMG_2621 (Medium)Sorry I missed last nights post, but we are still having random internet issues. still using Authentique Pretty collection of papers,I also used a dress form die ( mine is from stampin up, but most die companies have one of these!)and wrapped  some lace around it, and glued a string of pearls around the neck area.I folded back a corner of the layered square and pinned it with a kaisercraft brad, and added some black lace there to peek through. A ribbon bow and some  ruler printed trim ( got it and the string of pearls from K-mart) to finish off this design. Til tomorrow….

Authentique Pretty number 2

IMG_2619 (Medium)Authentique Pretty  paper collection, mounted onto black cardstock base. I cut a matching strip for the right hand side, and layered a piece of lace onto it, mimicking the cuts at the bottom, and added a little pink bow . On the left I mounted some of the fussy cut paper, and added a butterfly charm threaded with black ribbon. Today i have prepared my september lessons, and have been thinking about christmas cards. I have a day off on Monday,. so will pull out last years left over paper and make a start on using it up so that I don’t feel too guilty when I buy  new releases which I know are on the way and I won’t be able to resist! Kaisercraft Lavender haze – 10 speedy cards…

IMG_2631 (Medium)IMG_2633 (Medium)Something a bit different for the next couple of days. I have done this series which I am calling 10 speedy cards. I used a 6″ pad ( kaisercraft lavender haze,) and a packet of matching collectables and made 10 cards using the same sketch design. The only other embellishments required are some ribbon and lace and you can make these in one sitting in just an hour or two! Here is the recipe …. take 10 sheets from the 6″ pad, and cut each of them into 2 pieces measuring 10.5 cms across, and 7.5 cms down. That gives you 20 pieces. match up top and bottoms and stick them on to your card front. ( the size of card is 10.5 cm across, and 15 cms down)0r an a5 piece of cardstock folded in half…then using ribbon or lace cover the join. you can also use the border strips that come in the collectables pack and the back of the pad as I have done .Then it is just a matter of affixing the assorted collectables ( and some of the labels from the pad) onto the card with foam pads to finish. I also added some bling cos that’s just what I do! Tomorrow I will put up some more of the 10 cards. Til tomorrow…..

Beau Chateau – stampin up.

IMG_9395 (Medium)This is the other card I made with Stampin Up Beau Chateau patterned paper ( retired stock) . for this one I cut a rectangle of the printed paper, and cut it into three strips, and mounted it onto some blue cardstock before mounting the whole piece onto cream cardstock.I stamped out a sentiment from vintage verses stamp set ( stampin up) and added a bow and pearls. Not much crafting this weekend – on the up side I did complete the orders I had to do, so at the moment the desk is clear of all ” have to do” stuff! Til tomorrow….
