Lil Primrose 4

This is the final card in my Lil Primrose series ( for now – I will make more with this paper at a later time…) and I used the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables from the same kaisercraft range. I added a little ribbon and some lovely lace at the edge of this one. Where has today gone? I spent over three hours sorting out my market boxes for this Sunday, and the time just disappeared! I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon in the craft room, it is still hot here in Adelaide, but I can only stay away from that room for so long! Nathan and I spent some time this morning taking photos of cards so will have some different ones to show over the next couple of weeks… Til tomorrow…

Lil Primrose 2

Kaisercraft Lil Primrose 6″ pad and matching collectables, a martha Stewart punch, a bit of ribbon, and stampin Up daffodil Delight cardstock for tonights cute girly card. A couple of posts ago I asked for a little help naming a martha stewart punch that I used to make a very lacy rosette – the lovely Carole has e-mailed to let me know it was  a martha stewart deep edge punch called Linked Trim. I am very grateful – thank you Carole.Another  very hot day here in Adelaide so another evening will go by with no crafting done – when its this hot all you can do is sit under the air conditioner. I am a bit frustrated as I am in the middle of designing some shaped cards for next months lesson and if I don’t get these ideas out they will drive me mad or worse… I will forget them….Til tomorrow…

Lil Primrose

One of kaisercrafts releases for this month is a pretty girly range called Lil Primrose – it reminds me a little bit of Holly Hobby ( remember them?) and this is one of the cards I have created from the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables. I die cut the circles from cardstock, and just added a ribbon. It is another very hot day in Adelaide today, almost too hot for crafting – the glue dries before I have a chance to stick anything with it! Til tomorrow….

A different folded flower…

Todays card has a new technique on it – The flower is made  with a martha stewart strip punch, and I have thrown the packaging away and can’t remember what its called – maybe someone can help out there- I punched the length of a 12 x 12 papeterned paper and folded it accordian style, just like we do for the sizzix rosetttes, and popped a kaisercraft sparklet in the middle. these are easy to make and are more delicate that the rosettes. The papers used on the card are kaisercraft sweet nothings, I also used  my sizzix leaf die, Stampin up greeting stamp – Well Scripted, spellbinders labels 17, martha stewart butterfly punch and a little ribbon. Til tomorrow….

-edit… I have since been told that the martha stewart punch I used to create the lacy rosette is a deep edge punch called Linked Trim. thank you Carole for the Info.

Sweet Nothings 8 ..I think…

I have certainly enjoyed using this range from kaisercraft – Sweet Nothings.. and this is a favourite although tomorrows card is also a favourite. This one uses the 6″ pad, and my Nestabilities label 17 dies through my cuttlebug. I have added a little bird from the collectables from the same range and a gorgeous chocolate ribbon. The greeting stamp is from Stampin Up – Well scripted. another favourite and well inked stamp!Tonight I will be found in my craft room creating Wedding cards… Til tomorrow…..

Glitz designs Whatnots

Now… about that previous post…. Nathan was wandering around the house taking random photos, as he does and we don’t take any notice of him, but I did not realise that he posted that one  – I am going to have to get a password on here! The desk is a little tidier now ( but not by much!) Todays group of three cards focus on a pack of Glitz Designs Whatnots I purchased  before xmas.. If you ever see these packs, take my word they are good value for money. I just used up scraps of patterned paper and cardstock and a bit of ribbon to finish.Til tomorrow….

Sweet Nothings 6

Today I have jumped back to a group of cards I made before Christmas, but haven’t had a chance to post yet. The paper collection is Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings ( A favourite of mine, and I will be making a few Mothers day cards with this one) ,the die used was nestabilities Picot Edge die, and the stamp was Stamp It circle for you, stamped in Choc chip ink. I added ribbon, kaisercraft pearls, and a bit of kindyglitz. Til tomorrow…..

Bo Bunny 5… The last…

I think this is number 5 … I have lost count… Bo Bunny Enchanted paper teamed with assorted flowers, beaded ribbon and magnolia tear drops. Thats the end of my monochrome series, hope you enjoyed it.. tomorrow we will have some colour! Tonight I will be found in the craft room playing with some new paper that I have had for a little while but haven’t had a chance to cut into yet! til tomorrow….

Bo Bunny Enchanted 2

Yesterday was an engagement card, and today is a Wedding card! Here I have used Stampin up basic black cardstock with a few of Bo Bunnys’ Noteworthy Journal die cuts ( Enchanted) layered on top of one another, and edges inked. I have also added flowers and beaded ribbon. Mum, Kay and I had a lovely day  visiting a crafty friend who lives in the Adelaide hills, so we had a nice drive, and stopped to by some fresh produce from a roadside stall on the way. Very relaxing, and just what the doctor ordered after a busy week at work.Tonight I intend to continue crafting with the supplies I pulled out today to take to Sandy’s as I have to confess we did a fair  amount of chatting and not too much crafting! Great fun…. Til tomorrow…..

Bobunny Enchanted

Here is something completely different for me – Monochrome cards… This particular card was created for a relative that recently became engaged, and I used Bo Bunny Enchanted 6″pad, a matching brad and a pre printed label from a matching 12 x 12 paper. I added some flowers, pretty beaded ribbon and a prima leaf. I die cut a sizzix tattered floral from more of the papers from the 6″ pad. The greeting was stamped with Stampin Up perfectly penned. I would love a bit of feedback on these monochrome cards so let me know what you think! Til tomorrow…..
