This weeks cards are a lesson in Layering! The paper collection I used here is called Juniper and Sage, by an Australian company called Uniquely Creative. This paper collection had lots of interesting text blocks that I could fussy cut as well as flower and leaf images. On the second card I did a little stenciling, and on the third card I used a great script stamp. I havent been doing so much creating this week, I’ve been preparing my card boxes ready for the June fair. I like to do that early so that I can see if I need to make any specific cards. I may have to make some more Male cards, luckily I have just received my Mintay Garage paper collection so will start on them next week! Til next time, stay safe!

Last five Garden Path cards…
I had more cards made with this collection but I have given them to the avid gardeners in my family! I have lots of paper left over and as soon as I have organised myself for the June Fair ( yes! Its that time of year again!) I will be making more. The young people have embraced indoor plants, and this Uniquely creative Garden Path collection is perfect for making greeting cards for them. The lower two cards have a greeting stamp by stampin up . Its an old one, but I like the vertical nature of it. I cut the front of the cards back, and stamped the greeting on the back flap. The rest of the inner back flap is lined with a piece of patterned paper. Thats been my week in the craft room…til next time, stay safe…
More Wandering down the Garden Path..
I have used a few bits and pieces on a couple of these cards – ribbon, bling, lace and die cuts, but i like the bottom card which is just the papers ( uniquely Creative Garden Path) I love the idea of layering up old pallets for garden beds!In my Garden this week I have been picking Tomatoes, beans, and plums and planting lettuces. Its been a very mild week weather -wise here so some things are taking longer to ripen but we get there in the end! Til next time, stay safe…
Last of the Christmas makes.. a little late!
Here are the last few Christmas Cards! The first four ( my favourite) are made from a collection called December to Remember by Uniquely Creative. I fell in love with the little gnomes, and have kept some to peek out of next years Christmas makes. The last three are made from A very Vintage Christmas collection, also by Uniquely Creative. Last year was very emotional and stressful, and I had to be so many things to so many people that I didnt’ have any time for me. This year it is my commitment to myself to make time to sit for at least half an hour a day and craft. Everyone benefits from me taking a little time out! So far , so good and I have lots of cards already waiting to show you. Thank you all for being patient and sticking with me! Til next time, stay safe …
A December to Remember
The name of this paper collection is A December to Remember, and it is gorgeous! I love the little Christmas gnomes and have enjoyed creating with them, The collection also has two colourways..the traditional reds and a beautiful clear blue. I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, and my american friends are staying as warm as they can . Stay safe, til next time xx
Christmas cards..
I have been missing for a couple of months. The loss of dad has been difficult, and I have had no inclination to access the creative part of my brain . I have forced myself to sit down with my colouring books and pencils to just relax, and slowly healing is taking place. I have made a few Christmas cards, I’m not sending them out this year, so they will be put away for the fair. These ones are made in my favourite style – Vintage! The paper is from Uniquely Creative and is called a Very Vintage Christmas. I really have only used the papers, with just a little bling and gold twine on the second card. I will be back soon with more Christmas, in the meantime stay safe !
