Kaisercraft Silver Bells once again, this time the pink tones of the paper. I used the papers from the 6″ pad for this one, and as for the previous card folded the front of the card back on itself.Inside I used an image from a 12 x 12 paper ( which had room on it for writing your greeting)and added lace and ribbon. I also edged all around all the papers with tea dye distress ink. it was good to catch up with all my ladies at a lesson today, and one day of work tomorrow then the weekend! Til tomorow….

Kaisercraft Silver bells 2..
I made a few cards with this paper (kaisercraft Silver Bells) where I folded the card front back on itself and decorated – just for something a bit different! The card front and inner back is decorated with a piece of the 6″pad and I used a collectable for the focal point. A piece of 12 x 12 paper is stuck inside the inner back so that you can write your greeting. I like this – no inserts to do! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft silver bells number 1.
Today we make a start on my Kaisercraft Silver Bells collection. I have made a lot with this collection, so we will probably divide the viewing into a few groups over the next few weeks so as not to bore you all to tears!I bought the 6″ pad, a sheet each of the 12 x 12 papers( one of them is a whole sheet of baubles which I fussy cut out) and a packet of the collectables. This particular card is stampin up cardstock,a layer of 12 x 12 paper, and a couple of the collectables. I inked all my edges with tea dye distress ink, and added a piece of ribbon and lace to the bottom. The sentiment is from a piece of the 12Â x 12 paper. Most of these cards will be kept for my personal use as I really love this paper! Til tomorrow…..
same as yesterday…different colour!
Brand new cuttlebug/bigshot card
I came up with this card at short notice for a lesson.I used pearlescent cardstock ( for the card base) and pearlescent paper in the same shade of pink for all the embossing and die cutting. punches used – martha stewart lacy border, leaf, and branch , and the flower die is a new release from kaisercraft. I added flat backed pearls in the centre of the flowers. This card was actually so simple, but looks really effective in real life with the shimmery card and paper. A gorgeous day here in adelaide, so we are all off to a bbq lunch in the park..must dig out my sunscreen and hat, at 29degrees celsius our winter skin may get a little burnt! til tomorrow….
Flash back Thursday!
welcome to flash back thursday! A short series of most popular cards I have posted on my blog! This one is actually more popular than the previuos flash back card, because it was made a couple of years later, and has had the same amount of views and pins etc..It’s all punching and embossing folders ( are we seeing a theme here?)The embossing folder is a stampin up folder, but a lot of the newer folders I have seen would give the same effect, and the lacy cardigan bits are made with my martha stewart lace doily punch.the card base was made with a pale pink cardstock to give the illusion of skin when the green cardstock was folded back.Til tomorrow….
Cuttlebug card with some stamping…
Todays card is a really good basic design that leaves lots of room for improvising. I have layered two shades of purple cardstock, embossing the layers with two different embossing folders and stamped flowers from stampin up fabulous florets stamp set onto more cardstock – no colouring. The leaves are stamped onto green cardstock ( they are stamped using stampin up secret garden stamp) and then all the stamping is fussy cut. if you don’t want to use stamps it would look just as effective with flowers fussy cut from patterned paper or shop bought flowers instead. I used a big green flat backed pearl in the middle of my flower. The butterfly is punched with a martha stewart punch. Til tomorrow…..
Very quick layered card
Todays card is a very quick and simple layered card, and one which I did for a retirement village lesson. All the papers and cardstock used here are from stampin up but any paper collection would work with this design. So we have the base card and then 4 layers alternating pattern and plain.I die cut a beautiful butterfly and added a strip of rhinestones down its body to finish.I hope you have all had a lovely crafty weekend..til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft little One…baby boy card.
We are jumping all over the place this month, but I found a baby Boy card I made with kaisercraft Little one paper and collectables that I forgot to post.I used and elephant collectable on a card front from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper and glued on some buttons, fibbon bow and linen thread.Love the elephants in this collection! Today I was over at Mum and dads and put together some cards which I will finish in a couple of weeks when I go to our ( a few crafty friends and myself) craft afternoon get together. I have decided if I have everything ready to stick together I might actually get something done rather than just chat the afternoon away, although that is fun too!I have a few orders to do tonight and I want to get them done quickly because I have a big bundle of new stampin up stuff to play with. The Christmas papers are gorgeous and I have many ideas for them. Also have lots of new stamps, ribbon, embossing folders and dies.Today has been a glorious day here in Adelaide, and I have even had the air conditioner on for a little while, that’s the earliest in the season it’s ever been on so I wonder if we are in for a long hot summer?Til tomorow….
Most viewed card…
Today we are having a flashback thursday! I thought it would be interesting to check out which card has been my most viewed/shared card and it is this one from June of 2011! It was made with stampin up cardstock, and the stampin up blossom party die die set ( still a favourite die of mine)The leaves were done with a stampin up sizzix leaf die, and I used assorted brads to hold the flowers together. very busy day off today , what with shopping and a trip to the dentist, the day is running away from me and not too much time left for the craft room. At least the weekend is in sight! til tomorrow….
