IMG_7727 (Medium)We will leave Kaisercraft say Aloha paper collection for now with this last card that i crated, along with the box to pop it into. the papers are from the 12 x 12 collection, and I added a butterfly from the matching collectables, and some flowers and punched leaves. Tonight my boys are out, so I am heading into the craft room to try some experiments with ink and stamps that I have been mulling over. Til tomorrow…..

IMG_7737 (Medium)IMG_7738 (Medium)Well thats the fair over for another year, and I had a lovely time, catching up with friends, making new ones, and selling lots of cards! It was straight back to work today, all I can say is roll on the end of the week when I start 2 weeks holidays! Todays cards are continuing on with Kaisercraft Say Aloha papers from the 6″ pad, and I stamped and coloured ( with prismacolour pencils) my Deep red stamp – this stamp has 4 girl images on it, and I separated them all as I use them separately.Bling and flowers on these ones finish them off. IMG_7735 (Medium)IMG_7736 (Medium)Ttodays top card uses the 12 x 12 papers in the Say Aloha kaisercraft collection, and I just had to add some bling, collectables, and ribbon. The die i uses was a spellbinders happy birthday die.My favourite is the bottom card which uses the 6″paper pad from the same collection, and the rhinestones are all that is needed on this card.may have to buy another pack of the collectables from this range – I just love the flamingos! til tomorrow…..

Say Aloha number 2

IMG_7728 (Medium)Kaisercraft say aloha paper collection from the 6″ pad, and the matching collectables for this one.I used a black cardstock base, and die cut the Birthday using a spellbinders die, and matted it on more black cardstock and fussy cut around it. A busy day today, finished off my July classes and got all my gear together ready for next weekends three day fair. I am glad all that’s done as this week is going to be very busy at work – it’s stocktake so I will be counting all week, squeeze in a class on Thursday morning, and back over to work to complete the counting Thursday afternoon.Thankfully Friday is a day off! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft say Aloha number 1

IMG_7731 (Medium)The other paper collection I bought this month was Kaisercraft Say Aloha. With its bright bright colours and gorgeous flamingos I just couldn’t resist – I am always looking for something colourful at this time of year when it is so cold ,wet and dull here! For this first card I have used a mix of the 12 x 12 papers, 6″ pad and the collectables. I die cut a vellum butterfly,a scalloped circle, and added a kaisercraft paper flower. In the 6′ pad there are a couple of sheets with greetings on them so I die cut one of them out for the sentiment. Today I spent a couple of hours making a few quick cards for the craft fair next weekend, the time has come around so quickly this year, hopefully I have made enough…almost too late now to worry about that!! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft scrapyard 2 and 3…

IMG_7720 (Medium)IMG_7724 (Medium)here are two more cards made with kaisercraft scrapyard paper collection, and matching collectables. On the top card I have stamped and heat embosed a vintage car from stampin up guy greetings stamp set, added some masculine trim and layered the collectables on top of each other for the sentiment ( the great cog shaped ones on the bottom had sentiments that I didnt want to use, so this was a great way to add more interest). The bottom card makes use of the identity strip across the bottom of one of the 12 by 12 sheets ( which had the handy birthday greeting), and again I have used the collectables as the feature on this one. day off today, so did the grocery shopping, a doctors appointment, and a quick run down to Paper Flourish to check out new papers etc for upcoming lessons. I saw the new kaisercraft releases for June ..Beautiful, particularly secret garden which is just gorgeous! Til tomorrow….

I punched out the flags with a stampin up punch, and the rest was just the papers . I added two linen thread bows, and a couple of little copper circle stickers on the collectable greeting. Must be off – a full day of work ahead of me..til tomorrow…..

Three more Wedding cards

IMG_6532 (Medium)IMG_6537 (Medium)IMG_6536 (Medium)Here are the final three of my wedding card series – the top two cards are made with kaisercraft on this Day paper collection, and the bottom card is a mix of papers I found in my drawer, and prima flowers and some punched leaves. I think the flowers on the top two are also Prima, and of course ribbon and lace used liberally on all cards! Today I have been putting together some Prima doll stamp cards, and mulling over ideas for my July classes. can’t believe I am already thinking about july – where is this year going? Til tomorrow…..
