Today is the start of the Kaisercraft yuletide collection, and there is a lot in this series so we may break it up a bit. To start us off , a group of cards,. all done to the same design sketch and using one sheet of images and another of background paper. The holly was fussy cut from a sheet out of the 6″ pad,and I added a ribbon bow on each card. The bottom image is a close up of the design.Great paper for a marathon xmas card session. I had a lovely class today, very relaxing with my ladies. Til tomorrow….

Spellbinders Heirloom reflection dies
I shared my christmas stamp buy the other day, and this set of dies ( spellbinders Heirloom reflections) are my christmas die but for this year. Lots of different ways to use them so I am sure I will get my moneys worth! For these cards I used the plain dies for the base of the baubles and used some patterned foil paper from kaisercraft yuletide collection for the more intricate cuts on top.All the paper used here was from kaisercrafts yuletide collection.I added ribbon ,bows, and some sequins – I am liking sequins just now, and have to find some more – I feel a trend coming on!Til tomorrow….

Love the colours of this paper – Bo bunny Isabella. The cardstock is stampin up as is the sentiment stamp, and I have used a variety of flowers, mainly Prima on the bottom card and the bunch on the top card is Manor House. Martha stewart leaf punch, ribbon and liquid pearls are the rest of the supplies I used.I had some new stamps to colour last night, and today I have spent an hour or two in between housework making up cards with the finished colouring.Til tomorrow…..

Also used stampin up cardstock and sentiment stamp, and martha stewart leaf punch and liquid pearls. I had a relaxing time in the craft room last night, and sorted out 2 of my December lessons – just a couple more to do – I think I am doing and extra class in december – a night class so that will be something different!nathan has been experimenting with lighting when he does my photos – let me know what you think! Lovely as a Tree christmas ..

Three cards today, all made with stampin up cardstock, and stampin stamp set called Lovely as a Tree. These cards were experiments, to see how I could use normal stamp sets for christmas makes. The top card used some kaisercraft patterned paper from the Yuletide collection, and I stamped the tree, dotted it with glue and added some Flower soft to it, for a bit of texture. For the second card I inked through a negative piece of cardstock which I had die cut an oval, then with the negative piece of cardstock still in place I stamped the row of trees, removed the mask and then stamped the single tree. The third card was embossed along the bottom, ribbon wrapped around it,and tree stamped and dotted with some kindyglitz.I am off the the craft room now to make a start on my december lessons. I have some great paper for teen boys cards and some beach themed cards and lots of ideas running around my head, so let the creating begin! til tomorrow….
Two More Festival of Trees cards

two more card today made with my new stamp set from stampin Up – Festival of Trees. The papers and cardstock I used( in fact everything I used) is from Stampin up, but it’s not strictly Christmas paper, I just thought that it would work!I like the pale blue one for a change from red and green. Today has been another good day in the craft room with quite a few more christmas cards made. Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up festival of trees stamp set

Every year I try to limit myself to one christmas stamp set, and one christmas die set, mainly because there is such a small window of opportunity to use them, and over the years the christmas stash mounts up and I do use previous years buys in new and different ways as I learn more techniques. This years stamp set buy was this one from Stampin Up. Called festival of trees, in the set is a variety of tree designs, as well as the bird shown here and a few other co-ordinating stamps. I also bought the punch that co-ordinates with this set , its a tree punch which has lots of possibilities besides punching out the stamped trees.the two cards I have shown here are the first two I did with this set, for a lesson over at the retirement village. The papers I used were in a paper pad that I purchased last year from Stampin Up.today has been the most enjoyable day in the craft room. I laid out my Time to Celebrate papers from graphic 45 and have created so many cards! All different too – little girl type cards, cards for older girls(!), wedding/bridal shower cards, baby cards, and I am heading back in there now to do some anniversary cards before packing up and doing a few more christmas cards! til tomorrow….
Stampin Up wonderous wreath
Todays card was made with mostly stampin up products, the only exception being the Tim Holtz brick wall embossing folder. The wreath is from the wonderous wreath stamp set, and then I used the matching dies to die cut it out, and the “Noel” ( from glitter cardstock), was also die cut from the same set. This is a great set to use when making a lot o xmas cards all at once! Til tomorrow…..
New Kaisercraft Feather die
A little break from all things Christmas today. I recently had the pleasure of roadtesting some new Kaisercraft dies for my local craft shop – Paper flourish, and one of the dies is featured here on todays card. I was most impressed with the quality of the dies, and particularly liked the way they fell off the die without very much persuasion at all! Here I have used it as it was intended – just die cut a couple of feathers and inked around the edges. On other cards I used the negative cut to sponge through onto my paper( which worked brilliantly) and ran other feathers through the die cutting machine in an embossing folder which also worked a treat, so lots of use from this die!The bird stamp on this card is by oxford impressions, and the flower is Prima. sentiment stamp, ribbon and linen thread are all from stampin up. til tomorrow….
