Kaisercraft Lavender haze – 10 speedy cards…

IMG_2631 (Medium)IMG_2633 (Medium)Something a bit different for the next couple of days. I have done this series which I am calling 10 speedy cards. I used a 6″ pad ( kaisercraft lavender haze,) and a packet of matching collectables and made 10 cards using the same sketch design. The only other embellishments required are some ribbon and lace and you can make these in one sitting in just an hour or two! Here is the recipe …. take 10 sheets from the 6″ pad, and cut each of them into 2 pieces measuring 10.5 cms across, and 7.5 cms down. That gives you 20 pieces. match up top and bottoms and stick them on to your card front. ( the size of card is 10.5 cm across, and 15 cms down)0r an a5 piece of cardstock folded in half…then using ribbon or lace cover the join. you can also use the border strips that come in the collectables pack and the back of the pad as I have done .Then it is just a matter of affixing the assorted collectables ( and some of the labels from the pad) onto the card with foam pads to finish. I also added some bling cos that’s just what I do! Tomorrow I will put up some more of the 10 cards. Til tomorrow…..

Beau Chateau – stampin up.

IMG_9395 (Medium)This is the other card I made with Stampin Up Beau Chateau patterned paper ( retired stock) . for this one I cut a rectangle of the printed paper, and cut it into three strips, and mounted it onto some blue cardstock before mounting the whole piece onto cream cardstock.I stamped out a sentiment from vintage verses stamp set ( stampin up) and added a bow and pearls. Not much crafting this weekend – on the up side I did complete the orders I had to do, so at the moment the desk is clear of all ” have to do” stuff! Til tomorrow….

Stampin Up Beau Chateau

IMG_9393 (Medium)I have spent a lot of my time in the last few days searching for some paper that I thought I had bought( haven’t found it yet, and am fast running out of places to search!) and in my searching have found lots of other forgotten papers that have gone in and out of fashion, and are back in now and will benefit from being used with some new dies and embossing folders that I have bought in the meantime, so next on my list is to use up these papers. First up is this card, made with Stampin Up Beau Chateau, which is a retired paper, but I have rejuvenated it with some fussy cutting, and cutting a banner. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up Vintage verses, and I used 2 different kinds of ribbon on the card as well.Taught a lovely group of ladies this morning – we had a great time.. nothing better than card making when the weather outside is so cold! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 By the Sea number 2

IMG_9392 (Medium)Graphic 45 By the sea paper collection, with a lovely wide ribbon from Stampin up, and a charm embellishment. A little fussy cutting in the bottom right hand corner, and a quick card done! Til tomorrow…

Graphic 45 By the Sea, number 1

IMG_9391 (Medium)Sorry I was missing last night – we had no power… Nathan said it went off at 1pm, and it didn’t come back on until close to 8 o’clock in the evening, so we sat in the dark, and were quite cold until then! It was a very late dinner last night!Todays card is Graphic 45 By the sea patterned paper, and a fussy cut quite a few images . I mounted the lighthouse on some stampin up real red cardstock, and used a little of the trim from the same paper down the right hand side. This paper is out on my craft desk at the moment, as I was planning to make some more cards with it, but I have a few orders to complete, so will have to pack it up again! til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Storyteller number 11

IMG_9383 (Medium)This is Kaisercraft Storyteller patterned paper, and the last card in this series, for now.I used the couture creation cameo die set, and a martha stewart leaf punch, as well as some mini flowers ( kaisercraft) and a ribbon bow.We have done some photoing today, but the computer has been playing up so Nathan has been busy fixing it, so the photos aren’t on here yet!Another very cold day here,I am about to go and sit in front of the heater and do some watercolouring. Til tomorrow….

Storyteller number 10

IMG_9382 (Medium)For this one I used the same piece of 12 x 12 storyteller patterned paper ( kaisercraft) as yesterdays card, and cut the strip with the flower image, and fussy cut the lace printed strip, and stuck both on to the front of my white card blank. Just added a mini flower, ribbon and punched leaf to finish. Today I have spent a lot of time in the craft room using up some older papers – hopefully we will be able to find some time to photograph them in the next day or so! til tomorrow….
