IMG_5874 (Medium)Another 2 cards from the same 12 x 12 sheet as yesterdays cards, from graphic 45 couture collection.Again I cut a second image and 3’d the lady images. The card bases are made from stampin up cardstock, and I added some gorgeous lace, ribbon and flowers to finish.I was out and about in the heat today, but did manage to make 6 cards from the new kaisercraft Violet crush before I went out. That paper is lovely, and I can’t wait to get back to it but tomorrow I will be planning out my march lessons.Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Couture collection 1,2, and 3…

IMG_5873 (Medium)I thought I would ease into this collection with a few simple designs to start. This is a huge group – I was quite prolific with this collection of paper so we might have to break it into 2 or 3 groups, with a little break in between just so boredom doesn’t set in! For these first three, IBecause i had bou used black cardstock for the card bases, and a sheet of 12 x 12 paper for the main images, the background paper is from the matching 6″ pad.from there I just added assorted flowers, lace, ribbon and bling.Because I had bought 3 sheets of the images I used 2 sheets  and 3’d the images by fussy cutting some of the elements such as the hat on the lady on the left etc and mounted with sticky foam pads. For now it’s back to the craft room…til tomorrow….

IMG_5853 (Medium)IMG_5854 (Medium)As promised, here are the last 2 cards in my Kaisercraft Paradiso collection. These ones are bon Voyage cards, and I used the 6″ pad for the background papers, and the collectables and a little twine to decorate.Tomorrow I think we will move on to my new graphic 45 papers, just for a change. The end of the working week and it’s going to be a hot weekend here, so I may get a little crafting done – I have some lovely new papers from the upcoming Kaisercraft releases so I will sit and plan out a few lessons and I really want to cut into Kaisercraft Velvet Crush this weekend – that paper is gorgeous – all purples and lilacs – a lovely change from everything xmassy! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft paradiso number 1

IMG_5847 (Medium)As the weather in some parts of Australia is so hot, I thought it only fitting to post  some beach cards. Luckily for us here in Adelaide the weather hasn’t been quite so hot, today has been lovely, but all the same I do feel sorry for those suffering the heat. The paper collection featured for the next few days is a release from last month by kaisercraft called Paradiso, and the main images on the cards all came from one of the 12 x 12 sheets. Thrifty crafting at its best because I made 6 cards out of this sheet! All I added here were a couple of buttons and some twine and a few of the matching collectables. The cardstock is some retired stampin up cardstock. This weekend I am working on some baby cards to replenish my market boxes. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Garage days

IMG_3179 (Medium)IMG_3181 (Medium)two cards tonight ( as there were last night – one accidently found its way onto the blog – just one I was mucking around with – trying out some colour combos.. I wasn’t even going to put it up here but it obviously had other ideas!)These two cards both use kaisercraft Garage days paper collection and collectables, and I have used kays ( my sisters’  stampin Up die to die cut the card shape). The card on top is going to be my husbands birthday card – it’s not til February but when I make cards sometimes the person they belong to jump out at me and I put them aside in a special box.that way i am not racking my brains at the last moment ! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Tea break number 6

IMG_3167 IMG_3175 (Medium)Very quick post tonight as tea is cooking as we speak! This is the last of our Kaisercraft tea Break collection, and here I have used the paper pad . I die cut the shape of the card with a die from Stampin Up – the name escapes me for the moment – I was over at my sisters place and she had it, so I did a fair amount of die cutting with it while I was there!it’s a very effective die and I have made a lot of mens cards with it , which I am sure we will get to at some stage!By then I may know the name of it. A big box arrivced in the post today, so after tea I will  have great enjoyment going through it all – I bought a lucky dip from Prima so it’s filled with lots of papers, flowers and assorted embellishments… ah bliss…. Til tomorrow….
