No colour co-ordinating dilemmas on this card! i did go through a white on white phase a little while ago, and this was one of the cards i created. The embossing folders i used were cuttlebug swiss dots, and stampin up square lattice. I cut the banners at various lengths, and punched out four circles with a 1″ circle punch, and inked around the edges of them with pale pink ink. i used a piece of wool fibre across the top, some pink ribbon bows, and a prima lace rosette down in the corner. This one was so simple, but I love the effect of white on white for this card.I had a great time with my ladies this morning, and am looking forward to a weekend of crafting – the weather here is cold and wet, so a lovely weekend for crafting.. Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 french country number 4
This is the last in my Graphic 45 French Country series for now – i have a couple more but they are waiting to be photographed so tomorrow we will return to the true romance series to finish that one off. I did a bit of matting and layering on this card, and distressed all the edges and inked with Tea Dye distress inks. The little bike image was laying on my desk so it ended up on the card as well – I think it came from a piece of Kaisercraft sears and sons paper. The Eiffel Tower was stamped, and heat embossed – the stamp is from Stampin Up artistic etchings stamp set. I tied some string with a charm attached around one of the layers. Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 french Country
We havent finished with the true romance cards , but we will get back to them – Today I ran a class using Graphic 45 French Country papers, and I had forgotten how much I liked this collection of papers, so i couldn’t resist making some for myself ! For this card, I covered the whole base card with paper, and ran a strip of border paper across the bottom. The sentiment is cut out of some more of the paper, and I used a matching chipboard for the focal point. I have a huge bag of new papers here at my feet, and I can’t wait to have a good look at it all, so Til tomorrow….
True romance 5 and 6

For these two cards i used one of the 12 x 12 sheets from the Kaisercraft True romance collection to cover my card bases, and the tags are from a sheet from the same collection – this sheet was great it was full of tags!. On the top card i did some fussy cutting to decorate, and for the card above I just added a big bow and a resin flower which I made – Stampin Up have clay and moulds now, and my sister, mum and i spent an enjoyable Saturday afternoon trying out different ways to colour them. My favourite technique was to sponge with ink, colour with a versamark pen an( thats to make the next step stick) and brush on perfect pearl powders. I love the subtle vintage finish. Til tomorrow….

I love this paper, and have made many many cards with it – I can’t believe these are the first I have posted – this is how far behind I am in the whole posting thing! The card just above makes use of some clear dome stickers stuck over the top of the little images which I cut out of some of the paper in the 6″ pad.The die used is spellbinders Picot circles, and added lace, ribbon and a flower to finish.til tomorrow….
