Bo Bunny Surprise 11 and 12
Only a couple more in this series – Bo Bunny Surprise so we will stick with them – still using the original 5 sheets of paper that I purchased, we are up to card numbers 11 and 12! I used a punch for the stars on the card on the left, and fussy cut the the stars on the right out of the paper. The cardstock used for the card bases and the mats is from Stampin Up. Til tomorrow…..
Bo Bunny Surprise 7 and 8
Bo Bunny Surprise 5 and 6
Here are 5 and 6 in my Bo Bunny Surprise series. Still with the same original 5Â 12 x 12 sheets of paper, but used spellbinders pennant dies to make the bunting for the card on the left. I used Stampin Up cardstock for the card bases and various mats. Busy day today, pulling out my market boxes to see what cards I still need to make for my craft fair stall in two weeks time – have a list so will be very busy in the craft room . Lucky my holidays start at the end of this week! Til tomorrow…
Bo Bunny Surprise 3 and 4
Bo Bunny Surprise papers – the 12 x 12 variety, and still making good use of the cut outs sheet.I just teamed the papers with some colour matched cardstock for some matting, and a legth of green ribbon on the red card to break up the colour. A day of crafting procrastination today – lots to do in the craft room but not much motivation so a trip to my local craft shop ( Paper Flourish ,where I also teach) was on the cards. A good browse around the aisles, a shopping basket of goodies, and home full of enthusiasm! Now cook some dinner and back into the craft room to plan out those lessons! Til tomorrow….
Celebrate Today with Bo Bunny Prairie Chic….
I have interrupted my latest series to post this card that I made this morning ( in between shopping and visiting Mum and dad) . It’s a special card because I am Celebrating – In the next few hours one of you will be my 100,000th visitor to my blog! This is amazing to me – My blog is a daily journal of my crafting travels, and sometimes my life travels too. That so many of you visit is great, and that so many of you come back is even better! My love and relaxation is card making, although I have taken a few short trips down the box making path, the off the page path , scrapbooking path, and the mixed media canvas art path ( a longer path that one as I love creating canvasses!) I always stay true to card making. looking back over my blog I have evolved and changed, and tried some new techniques – some worked, some didn’t, but I have always had fun and shown my successes and failures! Recent highlight was being chosen as a beautiful Blog in Papercraft Inspirations magazine, and ongoing highlights are my card classes that I teach, many of my ladies I class as true friends, and they travel the card making path with me, sharing ideas, and tips.So to all of you who visit, those that keep coming back and the 100 or so followers that have joined along the way – Thank You so much for letting me reach this milestone! Todays card was quickly made with Bo Bunny Prairie chic papers, a stampin up sentiment stamp, and some ribbon lace, and bling. I think it reflects my style ( for now!) perfectly! ( Can’t wait to make more with this gorgeous paper….Til tomorrow…..
BO Bunny Surprise!
Hi, and welcome to all my new subscribers. Today I am starting a new group of cards, made using Bo Bunny Surprise papers. I only purchased 5 of the 12 x 12 papers in this collection, but have made So many cards with it – and all different! I love the bright colours, perfect for young people, and one sheet ( the cut out sheet) had all the images that I have used for the focal points of my cards. I teamed the papers up with a selection of Stampin Up cardstock, did some fussy cutting and/or matting and these cards were all made in an afternoon. For these two I added a little glitter and rhinestones. After a long week the weekend is finally here, 3 days off and I am so looking forward to spending some quality time in the craft room. I bought some dylusions spray today, and a new stamp set so I am looking forward to experimenting – I will let you know how that goes! Til tomorrow….
Another party animals card
Here are the other two cards I made while I had the Kaisercraft Party Animal collection out – The background papers are from the 6″ pad,and I fussy cut the ladder, balloons and a bit of bunting from another sheet of paper. This is great paper for kids cards! I just added some googly eyes to a couple of the images. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Party Animal
I revisited Kaisercraft party Animal patterned paper collection to make a few animal themed cards – this first one is a favourite – any excuse to use googly eyes! I did a lot of fussy cutting on this one – all the animals, balloons and the bunting across the top. the cardstock is Stampin Up Certainly Celery and the sentiment stamp is also stampin up. Retro card
I was asked to make a retro card for a lady who was turning 40 – this is what i came up with – the colours and large simple flowers were reminiscent of the era to me – I used mustard, navy and red cardstock, some kaisercraft flowers, and the papers were from the My Minds Eye Unforgettable range. The brad was also from my minds eye. Well that 3 days off went by very quickly, and its back to work tomorrow. Still got some crafting done, and a bit more preparation for my 3 day craft fair stall which is coming up very quickly now – 3 weeks away I think…Til tomorrow…..
