Have I said how much I love the colours in this collection? I particularly like the touch of black which adds a really elegant feel!For this card I used the kaisercraft Velvet Crush 6″ pad, along with the matching collectables.I fussycut a few butterflies, and added some prima flowers, a ribbon bow and rhinestones.The cardstock and sentiment stamp is from stampin up. I taught a lovely group of ladies today, and now I am ready to put my feet up for a rest before work tomorrow… til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft paradiso number 2
Another beach themed card using Kaisercraft Paradiso 12 x 12 paper and a couple of the matching collectables.just added a button tied with twine on this one.Today has been productive – i have made a start on my baby cards – got 4 done this morning while my roast was cooking, and this afternoon i took a break from baby cards and made a few little boy space men and rocket type cards.now I am off to find a home in the craft room for my box of prima goodies! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft paradiso number 1
As the weather in some parts of Australia is so hot, I thought it only fitting to post some beach cards. Luckily for us here in Adelaide the weather hasn’t been quite so hot, today has been lovely, but all the same I do feel sorry for those suffering the heat. The paper collection featured for the next few days is a release from last month by kaisercraft called Paradiso, and the main images on the cards all came from one of the 12 x 12 sheets. Thrifty crafting at its best because I made 6 cards out of this sheet! All I added here were a couple of buttons and some twine and a few of the matching collectables. The cardstock is some retired stampin up cardstock.This weekend I am working on some baby cards to replenish my market boxes. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Tea break number 6
Very quick post tonight as tea is cooking as we speak! This is the last of our Kaisercraft tea Break collection, and here I have used the paper pad . I die cut the shape of the card with a die from Stampin Up – the name escapes me for the moment – I was over at my sisters place and she had it, so I did a fair amount of die cutting with it while I was there!it’s a very effective die and I have made a lot of mens cards with it , which I am sure we will get to at some stage!By then I may know the name of it. A big box arrivced in the post today, so after tea I will have great enjoyment going through it all – I bought a lucky dip from Prima so it’s filled with lots of papers, flowers and assorted embellishments… ah bliss…. Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses number 3
All I have used here is a small amount of patterned paper from the kaisercraft butterfly kisses paper pad, and one of the tags from the same pad.It is the layering on this card that adds interest and this is one of my favourite sketch ideas. I rounded the corners on the right hand side of all the layers, and added ribbon and rhinestones to finish. The card base is stampin up cardstock, and the other plain layer is Kaisercard.looking forward to 3 days off and some time spent in the card room this weekend setting up classes for February! til tomorrow….

we are back to Kaisercraft Lady Bella papers tonight.. The papers I used here are from the 6″ pad, and the label is from the pack of collectables.I used my stampin up sizzix gift bow die to make the bow, and added some kaisercraft pearls, a mini flower and a little prima pearl swirl under the butterfly.I do love this paper and can’t wait to get back to it, in the meantime I had a bit of a splurge and bought all the new releases from kaisercraft this month, but will have to wait til I can play with them as I have a large order to complete over the weekend. Another favourite sketch with this card – prima Anna marie paper,and a lovely big ribbon bow, resin flower, prima bling and an assortment of leaf punches and dies. I rounded the right hand corners on all layers. a lesson taught today, and more lesson prep this afternoon. Back to work tomorrow, if my voice holds out! Til tomorrow….

Here is Prima Anna Marie paper, the top layer shaped into a large banner ( I like this sketch and use it alot) with a tag which I stamped layered on top, and a ribbon bow and resin flower added. I have been in the craft room making more christmas cards, have nearly used all my kaisercraft St Nicholas paper- so pleased with myself! til tomorrow….

Here is the last in my Kaisercraft St. Nicholas series, and for this one I used the 6 ” pad for the backing pieces and the sentiment, and some images from the St. Nicholas collectables as the focus of the card. The cardstock is Stampin Up Always Avocado, and just a little Kindyglitz to highlight. I am officially on Holidays today,and have a host of things lined up to do in the cratf room, can’t wait to get started! Til tomorrow….
Butterfly stamps
A stamping Card today. I used Kaisercraft butterfly stamps and lined them up down the cardstock. I coloured them with distress inks , and then layered onto some kaisercraft patterned paper. Added lace, a flower and a punched leaf frond,inked around all my edges, and stuck the whole lot onto stampin up cardstock.I have been busy making Sympathy cards today, and now I am going to work on some classes for October.
