The designer papers ( which I love and went back and bought another pack) is Tea for two.The stamp (sentiment) is from the Vintage verses set, and I used the stampin up sizzix die for the leaves, and the dress form( Dress up framelits) the trim is flower trim and natural trim ribbon. Even the bling is from stampin up!Tomorrow more creations using this gorgeous vintage style paper. As for today, I have been busy making a sewing box for my niece – something off the page for me today1 Til tomorrow….

Prima Tea Thyme number 8

IMG_3673 (Medium)I really enjoy making these cards in boxes, and I have done a You Tube video ( titled card in a box box) to show how I make these very simple boxes. For this one I used Prima Tea Thyme 6″pad, and matching flowers. I added some ribbon, lace and an organza bow to finish. The tags used are all found in the 6″pad.I have been amazingly creative this week, and have made close to 40 cards, which I now have to organise Nathan to photo , and I have been very naughty and not done the inserts, so tonight I will be going through them all inserting the verses! That is the most boring job… which explains why I haven’t done them yet! Til tomorrow….

Spellbinders nested tea cup dies number 2

IMG_3651 (Medium)This is the second card we made over at the retirement village on the weekend . I used the largest nested tea cup die as a vase for the kaisercraft flowers, and some punched fronds(Martha Stewart punch) and Die -namic fancy flourish die. I embossed the bottom of the vase with a border embossing folder, and the cardstock used was Stampin Up rich razzleberry and perfect plum. I have spent some time today making cards with the new graphic 45 secret Garden, and will get Nathan to photo them this weekend so that I can show them next week, and now I have moved on to some mens cards.Til Tomorrow….

Stampin Up Sycamore Street

IMG_3661 (Medium)Here is a complete change of colour, and I love it! Everything used in todays card is from stampin Up – starting with the cardstock which is Island Indigo. the papers, and ribbon and button pack are from the Sycamore street range, and I die cut the label from Apothecary Accents Framelits. I paper pierced around the frame and stamped the sentiment in Rich razzleberry ink, with a stamp from the perfectly penned set. I punched a couple of different sized circles to make the flower in the corner, and threaded my button with some linen thread.I taught alovely class this morning – thank you to all the ladies who braved the horrendous heat to share the morning with me!I am now deciding whether to go and do my grocery shopping this evening or leave it until tomorrow night, but I believe it’s going to be just as hot tomorrow so I guess I should just go and get it over and done with! til tomorrow….

Echo Park Love Story number 2

IMG_3659 (Medium)Echo Park – Love story patterned paper, ansd another not quite shabby chic style. I distressed and inked all the edges of my layers, added a doily, a couple of leaves die cut using a memory box die – Meadow Leaf. Assorted flowers, and a big one made from some netting with a kaisercraft brad in the centrer, and all that was left to do was stamp the happy birthday!Til tomorrow….

A wedding card

IMG_3590 (Medium)This is a wedding card I made for an order,I usually take inspiration for the colours for wedding cards from the colours of the invitation, in this case it was white, black and silver. The small amount of patterned paper is from kaisercraft After 5 collection, as is the label with the sentiment ( stampin Up mr. and mrs stamp)and the die cuts which are from the collectable pack The two hearts are die cut with Do Crafts x-cut hearts and I ran them through a couple of different embossing folders to add a little texture. All that was left to do was add bling, lace and a flower! I have had a hugely enjoyable day in the craft room today, it’s been a shabby chic day in there today, and a little tidying up and using some old stash happened  as well. All in all very productive! Til tomorrow….

Basic Grey Serenade number 6 ..the final…

IMG_3598 (Medium)This is the final in my series of basic grey serenade 6″patterned papers and sticker sheet. It’s special because it’s my husbands Valentines day card.I mounted two graduating pieces of patterned paper on to my card base, and fussy cut some more of the patterned paper to form the band across the bottom. I stamped some shells from my stampin Up By the Sea shore stamp set onto patterned paper, and cut them out too. I mounted the round stickers onto punched circles, and added some netting and twine. My favourite is the Tim Holtz idea-ology corked vial, which I opened before I attached it to the card, and added a handwritten note.I distressed all edges of the papers. The second photo in this post is the state of my craft room table! I left a project unfinished a few days ago, and due to   work commitments haven’t been back in there – I nearly fainted when I went in there this afternoon! I should be ashamed of myself! I have 3 days off now, so first  on the agenda is to complete that project! Til tomorrow….

Basic Grey Serenade number 1

IMG_3593 (Medium)This collection of paper is Basic grey Serenade, and I have used the 6″ pad on all the cards I made with this collection. I ran with the Bee theme, and used some of the papers that resembled bee hives, and cut them into strips , and the die cut flower is from a packet that is part of this collection. I stamped another bee to add to the flower, and punched a couple of leaves with my Martha Stewart frond punch.I inked all the edges with Stampin Up so saffron ink, and that is the cardstock used as well!Tea is ready, so i have to run – Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft secrat admirer number 9

IMG_1188 (Medium)I am sorry I have been a bit of an erratic blogger this week, but we have had terrible trouble with our internet provider. hopefully its all sorted now, and here we are with todays post! Still using Kaisercraft Secret admirer collection, and I made a banner to go across the top, tied with pretty white bows. I used kaisercraft bling strips as flower stems, and some kaiser craft resin flowers – I love these! The cardstock is stampin Up melon Mambo. I have been busy in the craft room this week putting together a 20 card order, but that’s done now, and I am going to find my graphic 45 songbird collection and make some cards with that, I barely touched it when I first got it, so can’t wait to really get stuck into that! Til tomorrow….

DoCrafts Art Deco number 1

IMG_1161 (Medium)I bought An A4 Ultimate Die – cut and paper pack called Art Deco by Do Crafts,, and this is the first card I made using it. I have a couple more waiting to be photograghed, which hopefully will happen this weekend, but I wanted to share this one. The pack is chock a block with everything you need to create, and for this card I just added some plain cardstock layering and some bling which was perfect for this style. I am now on the hunt for some feathers. I think they would work perfectly with this collection.I’ve been checking out my galah, but he is the wrong colour! Til tomorrow….
