Kaisercraft Garage days

two cards tonight ( as there were last night – one accidently found its way onto the blog – just one I was mucking around with – trying out some colour combos.. I wasn’t even going to put it up here but it obviously had other ideas!)These two cards both use kaisercraft Garage days paper collection and collectables, and I have used kays ( my sisters’Â stampin Up die to die cut the card shape). The card on top is going to be my husbands birthday card – it’s not til February but when I make cards sometimes the person they belong to jump out at me and I put them aside in a special box.that way i am not racking my brains at the last moment ! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Tea break number 6
Very quick post tonight as tea is cooking as we speak! This is the last of our Kaisercraft tea Break collection, and here I have used the paper pad . I die cut the shape of the card with a die from Stampin Up – the name escapes me for the moment – I was over at my sisters place and she had it, so I did a fair amount of die cutting with it while I was there!it’s a very effective die and I have made a lot of mens cards with it , which I am sure we will get to at some stage!By then I may know the name of it. A big box arrivced in the post today, so after tea I will have great enjoyment going through it all – I bought a lucky dip from Prima so it’s filled with lots of papers, flowers and assorted embellishments… ah bliss…. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft tea Break number 4
A bit of humour today! Love this paper from Kaisercraft – Tea break. Vintage feel and great colours.I did something a bit different with all the corners – instead of rounding them I squared them off, I quite like the effect and will try this again one day – I used the little off cuts to stick in the opposite corners.did some matting as well, using some stampin up cardstock which matched in perfectly colourwise. Hope you all have a safe and happy new year, til tomorrow….
Tilda Country Escape number 4
Tilda Country escape 12 x 12 paper pad, with a die cut from the pad, and again a very similar sketch to the previous cards but this time I have turned it 90 degrees. I made a little tag for the sentiment, and added more ribbon and lace to finish. A very lazy day day today, with some card making – mainly just finishing projects, and it’s back to work tomorrow. til tomorrow….
Tilda Country Escape number 3 – very vintage!
A very early post today as I have a feeling life around here is going to be busy later on..This is a very similar sketch to the previous card, but I have stepped it up a little bit by adding the doily and a couple of extra layers and ribbon. the paper is Tilda Country Escape 12 x 12 paper pad, and the flowers are by Prima. I punched some leaves with my Martha Stewart frond punch and added some liquid pearls in the top right hand corner. It goes without saying that lace and lovely ribbon also featured! Til tomorrow….
Tilda country escape number 2
This is the second card I made using my Tilda Country Escape 12 x 12 paper pad. I just added some prima flowers, ribbon bow and lace to finish. The sentiment on the die cut ( included in the paper pad) was stamped with a stampin up sentiment stamp from the Perfectly penned set, and I inked all around my edges with tea dye distress ink.Today I have been making some cards for my February lesson useing Kaisercrafts new release for January ( Velvet Crush) – it is the most gorgeous paper and I can’t wait to start on my own cards using it! Til tomorrow….
Very Vintage – Tilda Country Escape..number 1.
Hello, I hope you all had a lovely restful christmas. I had a busy christmas day, but boxing day was nice and relaxing – it was back to work for a few hours this morning, and I have had a lazy afternoon, and the next 3 days rostered days off, so feeling quite happy about that! Todays card is made with a 12 x12 paper pad I picked up -and it had a few sheets of die-cuts in the pad as well so great value for money. Its a company I haven’t bought before , – Tilda, and the pad is called Country escape but I loved the very vintageness of it. I fussy cit the flowers from one of the sheets, and inked all my edges with Tea dye distress ink. Of course added some ribbon and some kaisercraft pearls to finish. Til tomorrow….
last stamped card, for now…
i say for now because I have been busy stamping this week, and we will get the camera out this weekend and take some photos!. On this card I have used two stamp sets from stampin up – Gorgeous grunge and By the sea shore. I used four ink pads ( stampin up daffodil delight, vherry cobbler, night of nave an early espresso. I stamped the crab seperately and fussy cut it out and layered it on top of a piece of hessian. i would like to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope you have a lovely, safe festive season surrounded by your nearest and dearest, and maybe manage to squeeze a little relaxing crafting in there too! I will take a couple of days break from my blog, and I will see you all at the end of the week…Til then…
