Kaisercraft Tea party 6 and 7

IMG_2809 (Medium)IMG_2810 (Medium)two cards today to finish this series . The top card uses the 12 x 12 papers and collectables from Kaisercraft Tea party range, and I added a ribbon, button and flower on that one. The second card uses paper from the 6″ pad as well as the matching collectables and I added a ribbon and kindyglitz. Tomorrow something different, although I have enjoyed these and can’t wait til I have time to go back and make some more with this paper.Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Tea Party number 4

IMG_2807 (Medium)i am loving the bright colours of this paper _ kaisercraft Tea Party. Here I used the 6″ pad for the bottom layer on stampin up cardstock for the card base. The cupcake is from the collectables pack, and I added another strip of paper down the side with some lace. I added some kindyglitz to the cupcake for some bling. I am busy today making some card for an order, a few more to do, then plan out my december lessons! til tomorrow…..

Summer Breeze number 1

IMG_7683 (Medium)Wow we are behind a little bit – I made this group of cards some time ago with a new release from Kaisercraft called Summer Breeze. Here I have used some paper from the 6″ paper pad, fussy cut the squares, and added a little bling to the flower images. I cut an extra image of the top flower and popped it on top with some foam pads. Over the last few days I have been experimenting with s0me new markers – Kaisercraft have brought out a range and next time Nathan has the camera out I will take some shots of what I have been up to! Til tomorrow……

Lucky Last Bo Bunny Surprise number 13

IMG_2967 (Medium)

Here is the lucky last Bo Bunny Surprise card. Lots of Stampin Up cardstock on this one, and stampin Up embossing folder too. I fussy cut the images and star strip from the bo bunny collection, and added them all to the card. Just needed a bit of kindyglitz on the bow to finish. Today I have been putting together some card kits to sell on my Fair stall – we will see how they go – if there is enough interest this is something I might get into as I have enjoyed myself doing them. Tomorrow morning will be photo time, hopefully we have some natural sunlight available for that – its been lovely and wet here the last couple of days – we never complain about rain! Til tomorrow….

Great southern land 2

IMG_8835 (Medium)Again, a little dark, not sure what happened there, but nathan would have an explanation for it!Paper and matching collectables are Kaisercraft Great Southern land, and i rounded the corners, and die cut an an oval for this one. the sentiment is a Hero arts happy Birthday stamp. More orders tonight – this time retirement cards, I’ve been kept busy this week with orders – it’s all good! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 a place in time 8

IMG_8733 (Medium)I have been on a bit of a hunt through my photo files looking for the card ( well two actually) that I made for a 40th retro birthday order that I had, and it appears that I haven’t got photos of them although Nathan and I are both sure that we took them. I  still have one  of the cards so the next time the camera is out we will take a photo so that I can post it! So to todays card – This is Graphic 45 paper – the images are from a Place In Time, and the background is from an older graphic 45 collection – the good thing about Graphic 45 paper is that most of the collections do have pieces that will match with other collections. The bigger image is matted on Kaisercard, and I found some trim in my ribbon drawer that matches perfectly with the blue and orange tones.Taught a class last night, and this morning – lovely ladies, and had a great time. This afternoon was a little nap time to catch up on lost sleep, and now I am ready for the weekend! Til tomorrow….

mens cards made easy….

IMG_8706 (Medium)While on my cleaning up journey I stumbled upon a great amount of Kaisercraft Sears and Son papers, and packets of collectables, so of course had to sit and make a few mens cards – so easy with this paper. So easy in fact that there are a huge amount of photos of cards made with this paper collection to show , so I will break into groups over the next few weeks!this paper is still available, and perfect to stock up on for those tricky male cards1All I have used are the aforementioned papers and collectables, and a couple of odd brads I had lying around for these two cards. It is a super early post today, as I am teaching this afternoon ( third class this week!) and when I get home I want to head straight into the craft room as I have a few ideas buzzing around that i want to get down on cardstock! Til tomorrow….

Prima Tea Thyme number 6

IMG_3668 (Medium)We are revisiting Prima Tea Thyme paper collection, made using the 6″ pad. I have matted the paper onto black cardstock, and added some prima flowers and a bling swirl. the sentiment is stamped with a stampin up stamp.Very quick and easy card!I have made great inroads into my mens cards today, and can now pack up the browns, greys and blues and break out some lilacs, pinks, and pastels tonight. I am going to go back to some previously underused papers, and clear a little room in the craft room, to make room for all the lovely papers coming through  from CHA….Til tomorrow….

October Afternoon farm Girl Number 5

IMG_1172 (Medium)Number 5 in my October afternoon farm Girl series, and for this one I used a lovely gingham patterned paper to cover my card blank, and a strip of paper on the side, punched with a martha stewart punch, and highlighted with a little ric rac. three lovly buttons threaded with bakers twine down the opposite side, and I fussy cut the farm girl from another piece of the patterned paper.Thats the last of the animal images, tomorrow we move on to what else you can do with this wonderful collection.I taught a class this morning with my lovely ladies, and had a terrific time with them, as always. I came home full of ideas for my March classes, so have been creating in the craft room, and will head back there now while I am in the Zone! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft tropicana number 5

IMG_1167 (Medium)IMG_1168 (Medium)This is the last for now, of my Kaisercraft Tropicana series. There are 2 images here, so don’t forget to scroll down a bit to see them both! I used the 12″ paper and collectables for this card, and punched three circles down the front of the card. Inside the card I positioned three images from the pack of collectables, so that they show through when the card is closed. This is a card that was easy to make, but has a lot of added interset to it – you could completely change it around – use feminine paper and add die cut butterflies to the inside circles – this design has lots of possiblities, and I will be experimenting with it more when I finally find some time to myself in the craft room!  On to something else next post…. Til tomorrow….
