To finish off my Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium series I have put up the last four cards so that tomorrow we can look at something non – christmassy! These cards are so simple – just lots of images from the papers , a bit of fussy cutting and layering, and added interest with the ribbon, craftworks candi,lace , rhinestones and kindglitz. I have been quite busy in the carft room over the last couple of days, and will have to get nathan busy with the camera tomorrow.I am on holidays for a couple of weeks, and I really want to finish off some paper collections to make room fro the gorgeous Kaisercraft that is coming out over the next couple of months ( I was lucky and had a sneak peek!)Til tomorrow….

Although I have titled these cards Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium, I think a little bit of graphic 45 Christmas Past from the previous year has crept into these ones – just goes to show – never throw away those scraps! also explains why I cant move in my craft room at the moment. The time is coming for a ruthless clean up. These cards are self explanitory, a bit of fussy cutting of the images, some layering and bakers twine and ribbon added for texture and interest.I also see I used an ek success border punch on the card on the right. kaisercraft Turtle Dove 17,18,19,20
Another 4 card bonus tonight, to try to catch up with all my christmas cards! Kaisercraft Turtle dove paper pad and matching collectables, with spellbinders Snowflakes 2012 die, and some lace, craftworks candi, ribbon and a drop of kindtglitz! Quick post tonight as it’s shopping night, and I have to organise myself for a lesson tomorrow – so look forward to seeing my ladies. til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 13,14,15,and 16
Four cards today, as I want to show these christmas cards while you are all still making them! Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 6″ pad and matching collectables. I have made so many cards out of this collection, and I haven’t even started on the 12 x 12 paper yet – might keep it for next year! Just a bit of clever layering, and some ribbon, lace, bakers twine and craftworks candii is all that was needed to complete these 4. Another 4 tomorrow.. til tomorrow….
Prima tea Thyme number 3
Todays card uses Prima Tea Thyme patterned papers, and a couple of dies – memory box la rue flourish, and Sizzix Tim Holtz caged bird. The bird I used in the cage is from a packet of Prima resist canvas. these are wonderful things! You can colour them to match your project, and when you do a pattern appears on the canvas! Wonderful! I just added some seam binding and bling to finish.I completed my special orders today, and am now back to Christmas cards. It’s back to work tomorrow so probably won’t get too much achieved in the craft room until the end of the week – til tomorrow….
Prima Tea Thyme card
Now for a change from Christmas cards I made this one using Prima Tea Thyme patterned paper and my cuttlebug.the die I used were – spellbinders labels 17, lace doily accents, and Memory box La Rue Flourish. The sentiment ( Love it) is from a stampin Up set called Apothecary Art, and the pleated satin ribbon is also stampin Up. I just added lace and perfect pearls to this one to finish it.Tonight I want to spend a bit of time in the craft room, doing some special orders, but first I have to find my work table which is under such a pile of stuff! Christmas All is Bright 9 and 10
Here are the last two cards in my My Minds Eye All is Bright series… tomorrow onto something else! The card on the left makes good use of the sticker sheet that matches this paper, and I have added a little seam binding. the cardstock is Stampin Up Cherry cobbler. The card on the right is purely paper, with some snowflakes die cut with Spellbinders 2012 snowflake pendant dies. The cardstock for this one is Stampin Up baja breeze. Nathan and I had a marathon photo session today, so tonight I will be sorting out all the photos, and will have new cards to put up. Til tomorrow….
All is Bright 1 and 2
We are back to christmas cards, these ones are a little different – lets call them shabby chic with a contemporary twist! The paper is My Minds Eye All is Bright and I have also used the matching brads,buttons and stickers.I have made a lot of cards with these papers, the ideas kept coming, and it made a nice change from green and red! I used Spellbinders 2012 snowflake pendant dies on these cards too, just the right amount of modern design in these dies.Also used – lace,seam binding, a doily, and bakers twine.Thats it for today – til tomorrow….
Anna Griffin camilla 3 and 4
Two together for this post! Still with Anna Griffin Camilla collection, and matching die – cuts.The lattice is a die by Cheery Lyn designs, ( number 2) and I added ribbon,magnolia chandelier garland drops,hat pins, perfect pearls and kindy glitz to finish. I got sidetracked today and made a canvas art for my craft room door – will show it when Nathan photos it! Til tomorrow…
