Kaisercraft PS I Love You..

img_0696-mediumA new group today! Kaisercraft PS I Love You.I have only made a few cards with this paper so far ( to be honest I may have misplaced it, but things tend to turn up so I am sure we will see it again eventually)and for the few I made I really only used the papers as backgrounds. These were done while I couldn’t do much crafting because of my shoulder but I have become quite adept at die cutting with my left hand now so there are bits of die cutting on these cards. The dies I used here are Paper Rose brand dies leafy flourish and ornate circle. I made the flower spray, another thing I did while I couldn’t card make – I have quite a few sprays now! I punched the lace doily border added some ribbon and die cut ( kaisercraft)the numbers from glitter cardstock. Til tomorrow….

Ooh La La 11 and 12.

img_8039-mediumimg_8041-mediumKaisercraft Ooh La La , 12 x 12 paper, and matching collectables. These are still the cards i have been making while I haven’t been able to do any die cutting, but on the top card i used my Stampin Up bow builder punch, love it and will be using it a lot more!Otherwise a very simple card. The bottom card has lots of texture – lace, ribbon, pearls, sequins and even a flower! the greeting is a vertical stamp from Stampin Up, another item I will be using a lot this coming year! Til tomorrow ( with our last card in this series…for now…)…

Kaisercraft Ooh La La 6….

img_8030-mediumNo die cutting or stamping on this card – just all paper!I used a bit of everything in the collection – some papers from the 6″ pad, collectables, and one of the card front rectangles from a 12 x 12 paper.Did some fussy cutting, and added some bling. Got to love this paper! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft True Romance pleating fun..

img_3535-mediumI wanted to explore a little bit with pleating techniques, and Kaisercraft true Romance papers were perfect for this technique as the front and backs of the papers are so pretty!I started with a card base made with Stampin Up cardstock, layered two pieces of paper on top of that. A sticker from the same collection covered the join after i had added my pleated piece of paper. A bit of measuring was involved here, but now that i have worked out the measurements any more card I make like this will be easier. Use a piece of copy paper while you are experimenting to save your lovely papers!.A bow and tag finished todays card. Til tomorrow….

Prima Tea Thyme card

Now for a change from Christmas cards I made this one using Prima Tea Thyme patterned paper and my cuttlebug.the die I used were – spellbinders labels 17, lace doily accents, and Memory box La Rue Flourish. The sentiment ( Love it) is from a stampin Up set called Apothecary Art, and the pleated satin ribbon is also stampin Up. I just added lace and perfect pearls to this one to finish it.Tonight I want to spend a bit of time in the craft room, doing some special orders, but first I have to find my work table which is under such a pile of stuff! Til tomorow…

kaisercraft turtle dove 5 and 6

Here are the last two cards that I have made ( so far – will get back to this paper) with Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 6″ pad and matching collectables.Very simple and easy to follow, just a dded a bit of ribbon and kindyglitz to these two. Busy Family day today, and a bit tired tonight, so will just be a night in front of the t.v. for me! Til tomorrow….

Cosmo Cricket Evangeline

I only bought a couple of sheet of this paper to make this card for my Auntie who is really not a pink blingy lady.It is Cosmo Cricket Evangeline – Rose and Dandelion. I fussy cut all the flowers and butterflies out of the Rose paper, and the dandelion sheet was good for backing paper. I found the acetate frame in my box of bits and pieces, and die cut the greeting with Spellbinders label fourteen out of some Bazill cardstock. The greeting was from my Stampin Up Perfectly penned set.It has been a lovely day here, and I have spent some time sitting out in the sun – lovely! Til tomorrow….

Christmas 2012 phrase…

Last one for now, we will revisit christmas after a short break! Here I have again used Stampin Up be of Good Cheer designer paper – did I say how much I like the rich colours of this paper? and matched it with stampin Up Cherry Cobbler, very vanilla and Wild wasabi cardstock. I embellished with kindyglitz, ribbon, bakers twine and my Ek Success border punch – sorry can’t recall the name of that one -.The Noel was die cut with my cuttlebug using a Sizzix basic grey die called Phrases, Noel. Christmas using non xmas items!

So after I made yesterdays card, I looked around the craft room to see what else I had that could be adapted to Christmas cards, and found my spellbinders Lacey pennant dies. When turned upside down they looked like christmas trees to me, and this is what I came up with – I have a couple more which I will show over the next couple of days. The cardstock is Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler, and the embossing folder is a cuttlebug brand. I used my Tim Holtz embossing diffuser ( number 1) to keep the centre clear of embossing, and die cut the pennants from Stampin Up Be Of Good Cheer designer paper. The ribbon is also Stampin Up Wild Wasabi.I used a few dots of perfect pearls Rouge on the tree at the forefront.Til tomorrow….

The Open Sea fathers day

Found this one while browsing through my files – also found some different ideas, which I will show over the next few days- The paper used here is stampin Up designer paper, for the background, and the panel that I have wrapped the bakers twine around is kaisercraft from the Mismatched range. The Boat is a stamp from Stampin Up – The open sea set,and I stamped it in Choc chip ink, and then used an oval spellbinder to cut the shape out. Quick post tonight, as it’s shopping night – no crafting tonight! Til tomorrow….
