Two cards today made with kaisercraft Madamoiselle papers ( because I may not be back here until Sunday…Big sale to prepare for at Paper Flourish). I love the top card, the butterfly is so beautiful, I fussy cut it from one of the 12 x 12 papers, and added some feelers and bling to it. I embossed some brown cardstock, die cut a fancy flourish circle , and added it all to a yellow cardbase. A few yellow flowers ,and a ribbon bow made this one totally different to all the other cards I made with this collection. The second card is back to vintage, with papers from the 6″ pad, lace, doily, collectables from the matching pack, a punched flower ( built up, shaped and with a bit of bling)punched leaves and of course a ribbon bow! Last 2 Kaisercraft Hanami Gardens cards..

I should add for now, because I will revisit this paper collection! Both cards are made with the 6″ pad papers, and the fronts decorated with some of the collecables of the same range. I printed up a special insert for the bottom card that says “wishing you a FANtastic day”…I couldn’t resist the play on words…Very busy at work this week, and I haven’t spent any time in the craft room, but we have a long weekend off for Easter this weekend so I will spend some time in there then! Kaisercraft hanami Garden number 2
For my second Kaisercraft Hanami Garden card I used a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, matted onto a plainer piece and then all onto a red card base. The paper is so lovely, I just added a few flowers, and a sprinkle of black sequins and gold cord. The sentiment is from the 6″ pad. Today is work, housework, and then cook tea, so I am sorted! Til tomorrow….
The Last Cherry Tree Lane card ( 15)
I can’t promise this card ( made with kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane 6″paper pad) won’t be the last, but it is for quite a while! The image in the centre is from the 12 x 12 cut apart sheet from the same collection, and I trimmed the sides with lace, and cut a banner shape to frame it. A light pink ribbon bow to finish. Yesterday i bought some new Kaisercraft High Tea papers, so beautiful, and I can’t wait to start making with it but first this week I have to make some wedding cards to fill my box, The June long weekend craft fair is not far away, and I have to start preparing for it! Kaisercraft Cherry Tree lane 12 and 13…

Yes we are back to Kaisercraft Cherry Tree lane and these are two cards that I did for a lesson. The top card has and oval die cut from the front of the card, and the back ( or inner panel) is decorated so that the bird panel ( from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper) shows through the die cut hole. The front panel is decorated with some fussy cut flowers and ribbon. The second card uses the oval we die cut from the first card – no waste here..with a stamped sentiment, some more fussy cutting and another ribbon bow. The backgroung layer was trimmed from a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, making sure I had the bird positioned where I wanted him. Nathan and I have spent this morning photo-ing my recent makes, and now I have to go and put inserts in all of them, a most tediuos job but it has to be done! til tomorrow…..
Hey Chick…a fun card..
A stamped and coloured card today, made with a fun stamp set from Stampin Up called Hey Chick. I stamped the chickens onto watercolour card, and stamped an extra one on a scrap. Coloured with ink pads and an aquabrush, coloured the extra one and fussy cut it out and popped it on the card with 3d foam pads. I punched a tag and stamped with the sentiment ( which was in the stamp set and found some prima wooden alpha blocks to finish, although I did toss up whether to die cut the U R letters which would have worked too. This was just a very quick make to try out the stamps but I love the chickens! Today is a day off, so i have been catching up on computer related tasks, and ruminating….Apparently my classes on the cruise were very popular and I have been asked if I want to do it all over again next year. I have to check with a few people…my boss, and my right hand sister helper, but I am pretty sure I will be cruising again next year! Yay! til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny petal lane 3,4..

Todays cards are still made from the Bo Bunny petal lane range of papers, I have always been partial to pink and lemon together so I do really like this paper, so much so that one of my May classes use it!The top card has a tag and a couple of bits from the noteworthys pack in the same range, and the hearts are a die cut by kaisercraft, I used only a little bit of the frame and the inner hearts on this card, so I still have lots left over to use on another card. The bottom card uses apiece of the 12 x 12 paper with the bike image on it, a stampin Up sentiment stamp and honestly just some bits that were on my desk. Til tomorrow…..
A die cut card..
I have playing around with my dies and mixing them up a bit – normally I like to keep the different companies separated…but I am going to bite the bullet and experiment! The simplest way for me to start now that I can finally use my die cutting machine is with different dies, so on this card have mixed Paper Rose flower and flourish dies with a memory keepers die and a kaisercraft ( butterfly) die. Pearls for a bit of bling and a stampin up sentiment. This one is going to be adapted to a class in the near future. Roast is in the oven, leek and potato soup on the oven, and now it’s craft time! til tomorrow….
simple male card idea
Todays card is one I taught yesterday in my class at Paper Flourish. It is a very simple one that doesn’t require a lot of product. I used two different sized fish tail dies ( kaisercraft) to make the shirt, and ran the larger piece through a Couture Creations pinstripe embossing folder. The bow tie was made with a template, but I do have a Stampin up punch that would have done the trick and you can also get dies ( I saw a paper rose one) that would also work.I just had to add three pearls to finish this quick and easy design.Quick post today as I can smell my cake baking in the oven – might be time to take it out! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 14….
It appears we are back to some Kaisercraft Ooh La La makes!I drew out a tea cup template and cut it out of some of the patterned paper from the 6″ pad,and decorated with orange ric-rac,ribbon, Green Tara flowers lace and a collectable butterfly from the matching set.The sentiment was from the 6″ pad, and I mounted it on some blue cardstock. Things are back to normal here, all unpacking and washing done, caught up with Mum and Dad, inspected the garden, and today I am looking forward to sitting in the craft room after nearly 2 weeks away from it!
