I have posted something similar to this in the past, but I was in need of bling and colour today, and this was a very recent make, so here it is! All supplies here except the flower, lace and ek success punch are from stampin up. The cardstock is Pool party, the gorgeous paper ( so lovely I had to buy more) is Attic Boutique, and I fussy cut the bodice from one of the sheets. I created the dress with very wide lace from Spotlight, and added 2 strip of narrower lace across the top of the bodice. The ribbons are stampin up pool party and cherry cobbler.I created a tag abd stamped the greeting from my Stampin up petite pairs set. These stamps are great for little tag greetings. It is very cold here in adelaide today, but I have put on the heater in the craft room, and intend to unwind in there for a couple of hours this evening! Til tomorrow…..

Lacey Dress card…
I still have a couple of male themed cards to show in my last series, but I have abandoned them for the time being, as i felt in the mood for something really girly! I thoroughly enjoyed making this card, as it fulfills all my crafting enjoyment requirements – a bit of fussy cutting ( the bodice was cut from an image from Stampin Up attic Boutique paper collection) and lots of lace and bling! The background paper is also from Attic Boutique ( stampin Up) and the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze. I tied a narrow ribbon and flower around the waist, and the skirt was made from a very wide piece of lace that I picked up from Spotlight.I added Kindyglitz to the bodice.
Rue Des fleurs 2
here is number 2 in my Stampin Up Rue Des Fleurs stamp set series. I also used Stampin Up attic Boutique designer paper, and so saffron an very vanilla cardstock. I stamped with choc chip ink, and added a few Kaisercraft pearls. You will notice a flourish design on the very vanilla cardstock – that was created by sponging so saffron ink through a piece of paper that I had previously die cut a die-namics fancy flourish from – I just used the waste as a stencil… nothing wasted here! Apothecary Art stamp set
Stampin Up have a great new little catalogue out, and I have bought quite a lot from it as I love the papers and stamps they have come up with so over the next few days you will be seeing what I have made with my new purchases! Todays card are made using the Apothecary Art stamps, and the Labels Collection die , which fit exactly to the stamps – no fussy cutting involved! I have coloured the images with my ink pads and a blender pen,and haven’t been too fussy – just quickly colouring over more to tint , and matted all on a piece of Soft suede cardstock, cut using the next size up in the labels dies. The background paper is Stampin Up Attic Boutique designer papers. the other side of this paper had gorgeous big roses on it, so it was a hard decision to use this side! A bit of punched greenery( martha Stewart punch) , flower and lace on one card and just the lace on the other. This stamp set has great potential, and I am looking forward to finding some more time in the craft room to create more with it1 Very early post today as I am teaching over at the retirement village this evening and I still have to get all my gear together! Til tomorrow…P.S. if you are interested in one of the Stampin Up mini catalogues, contact Kay – there is a link to her blog on the right hand side of my blog.
