A quick post this morning as I am off to teach a class this morning, and looking forward to it too!The thing all these cards have in common are they are all made with free stamps that came on the front of card making magazines, and the rest of each card was made with assorted bits and pieces lying on my craft table. The papers were scraps, as were the dies cuts – leftovers from other projects. a bit of ribbon and bling for each one, and a few cards made at very little cost. The top three cards were coloured with distress inks, and the bottom card was coloured with Kaiserfusion markers.Must be off now otherwise the teacher will be late… til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 time to flourish number 6
This one is a side stepper card, ( graphic 45 time to flourish June papers) again, I just sat down with my cardstock and ruler and fiddled with measurements until I made something that would fit into a normal c6 envelope. Luckily for me I scribbled down the measurements and made templates of all these cards so that I could do them again, because I really like this one in particular – it’s perfect for showing off this beautiful paper. My holidays start at the end of next week, and I will get Nathan organised with the video camera and we will do a bit of a clip on how I made this one and the previous card posted so that you can all try ! As for the rest…. fussy cut bits , and layers on each step( which you can’t really see in the photo) and a gorgeous ribbon bow to finish. Two days of 6 am starts over with, a day off tomorrow, one more day of work and three days off after that – got to love long weekends!! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Time to flourish 2 June.
Card number 2 made from graphic 45 Time to flourish ( June sheets) . It’s no wonder I started with this month in the 12 x 12 paper pad – these colours together are my favourite!I fussy cut another rose and a piece of the border trim, and added a ribbon bow, lace and some liquid pearls. the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze, sadly retired, but I bought up big on this colour before it disappeared! til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Time to Flourish June..number 1
graphic 45 Time to Flourish ..the June papers. I think by now you all know how I feel about Graphic 45 papers,so we will get straight into the description! One layer on my cardstock ( stampin up pink piroutte) with a corner rolled down and a brad to hold it in place. I punched a border with Martha Stewart lace doily punch – this is my second one – I wore the first punch out…and a piece of lace trim and little bows over the top.The rose was fussy cut from the paper.I have taught a couple of classes this week, and had a great time with my ladies.I have also made a couple of purchases – some flowers ( can never have enough) and a few copic markers – yes I have given in and bought some. I had bought quite a few kaisercraft fusion markers, but they dry out very quickly and it appears that they have been discontinued so, really if I want to keep colouring I had no choice. we will see how I get on with them! til tomorrow…..
Graphic 45 raining Cats and dogs.2 and 3 ..step it up!

For something a little different, I decided to take the same image from Graphic 45 Raining cats and Dogs paper collection, and make three cards ( two shown today and the last one next time) and make a basic card, then step it up for each card. the top card is the first card. Some basic layering ( I like the sketch – will use this again)and this one was quick and easy. For the bottom card ( second in my step it up series) I used the same papers and layout, but added some fussy cut flowers, and a ribbon bow. I will show the third one next time..Very hot here today, have a big order to do but will have to wait til the weather is a bit cooler..Til tomorrow….
Echo park teenagers number 6 and 7
Echo Park Teenagers 3 and 4

Two cards today, because I don’t think I will get back here tomorrow .. I have a really long day at work getting ready for the back to school sale..always something!… Todays two cards are still made using Echo park teenagers paper collection. as I mentioned before, I only bought a couple of sheets of this collection, but if I see it again I will be buying more as it is so easy to make those difficult teen boy cards with this paper. The bottom card has a bit of fussy cutting, and I layered everything with Stampin up cardstock – tangerine tango and Mossy meadow which matches in perfectly with the colours. For now though, it’s back to the craft room where the decluttering has commenced, although I must admit I get very easily distracted so it could be quite a long job and you may be seeing some cards made with older paper collections in the near future! til tomorrow ….
Echo Park teenagers number 2
Echo Park teenagers paper collection, just a bit of layering and fussy cutting and some corner rounding to add a bit of interest. this one was made for my nephews birthday today, but Nathan pointed out when he photographed it that I had stuck the tv on the front of the card upside down! Oh well we all make mistakes, and it will be interesting to see if my nephew notices! Til tomorrow….
Echo Park teenagers number 1
Still on teen boy type cards, but a different paper company – Echo Park teenagers. I only bought 3 sheets of this paper, but managed to make quite a few cards with them. For this one I used the sheet that had quite a few different images on it, and also fussy cut the banners from another square and added them underneath. Found a good use for a lovely big yellow button, and mounted it all on a card base made with some stampin up cardstock!Til tomorrow……
Prima seashore number 3
Well, thats another Christmas day past, I hope you all had a lovely day with your loved ones. I certainly did, and so good to get together with my Mum and dad and 3 sisters, and their families.Today has been a day of recovery, not so much from eating too much yesterday, but from the hectic time I have had at work! I did spend a klittle time in the craft room this afternoon making all my cards for Februarys classes, and nathan fiklmed a bit of a clip for the Paper Flourish blog which will go live in a couple of weeks. Now for todays card… Prima Seashore collection is the paper, and I stamped the top layer with a stampin up boat stamp, and inked around all my edges with some distress ink.The trim is from prima, and I added a button from my collection.Til tomorrow….
