We are all over the place with this blog lately – I am trying to clear some files of cards that I just didn’t get around to posting with the rest of their collection and I think we are nearly caught up now! These two cards were made with Kaisercraft blast off 6″ paper pad and matching collectables. i fussy cut a little monster from some of the paper to peer out of the porthole in the rocket on the top card. Simple cards as there are no other embellishments on them . The cardstock is stampin Up. day off today, but so busy.. lots to do and not enough time to do it in! Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 couture collection number 17!
Sorry .. couldn’t help myself! this is the last one in this series for a while, mainly because I have moved on to the new graphic 45 paper collection – botanical tea. Having great fun with it today. This card uses graphic 45 couture collection and stampin up cardstock. I have done a bit of fussy cutting, and thats it! I think this is why I love this companys paper – you don’t need lots of product to make really nice cards – the paper and some cardstock is all you need.Sometimes we rely too much on pre made flowers and lots of die cutting to make really effective cards but with some good quality paper and a little imagination we can save a lot of money and really enjoy ourselves whilst creating! Lecture over… I am off to the craft room to continue making.. I have been on a creative roll today, it’s been great! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Couture Collection 15 and 16

I thought this paper would suit a card made to look like a shop front. These style of cards are one of my favourite to make. Both cards use graphic 45 couture collection papers, and the top card uses a scallop edge punch to make the bottom of the shop awning, while I just used a piece of fussy cut paper for the bottom one.The cardstock is stampin up. After a long week the weekend is finally here and I am looking forward to relaxing in the craft room! Til tomorrow….

Bo Bunny our Lil Monster paper and collectables, stampin Up cardstock and sentiment, and a couple of googly eyes. taught a lovely class today, and they were very patient while I remembered what I had actually done to make the cards they were copying! In my defence, I had prepared that lesson 2 months ago, and a lot of cardmaking has gone under the bridge since then!I picked up my new graphic 45 Botanical tea paper – I bought quite alot of each sheet because I just love this paper, and tonight I am looking forward to sitting down with it and my scissors, then this weekend i will start creating with it! til tomorrow….
