card number 4 using Kaisercraft Paradiso 12 x 12 sheet and a couple of the matching collectables. I made the card base with stampin up cardstock. I love the images on this sheet of paper – they are glossy which doesn’t show in the photos, and perfect cards for the weather we have just now! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft paradiso number 1
As the weather in some parts of Australia is so hot, I thought it only fitting to post some beach cards. Luckily for us here in Adelaide the weather hasn’t been quite so hot, today has been lovely, but all the same I do feel sorry for those suffering the heat. The paper collection featured for the next few days is a release from last month by kaisercraft called Paradiso, and the main images on the cards all came from one of the 12 x 12 sheets. Thrifty crafting at its best because I made 6 cards out of this sheet! All I added here were a couple of buttons and some twine and a few of the matching collectables. The cardstock is some retired stampin up cardstock. This weekend I am working on some baby cards to replenish my market boxes. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Garage days

two cards tonight ( as there were last night – one accidently found its way onto the blog – just one I was mucking around with – trying out some colour combos.. I wasn’t even going to put it up here but it obviously had other ideas!)These two cards both use kaisercraft Garage days paper collection and collectables, and I have used kays ( my sisters’Â stampin Up die to die cut the card shape). The card on top is going to be my husbands birthday card – it’s not til February but when I make cards sometimes the person they belong to jump out at me and I put them aside in a special box.that way i am not racking my brains at the last moment ! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Tea Break number 5
kaisercraft Tea Break paper collection, and matching collectables, with a sentiment stamp from stampin up ( as is the cardstock) and an assortment of flowers and ribbon. I spent this morning sorting out my market boxes – I only do the one big three day fair each year but sell a lot of cards over the course of the three days, so I had to see what cards I needed to do to fill them -and it seems I have a bit of crafting ahead of me to fill them! This afternoon I made a start by making some little boy birthday cards with some great stamps from stampin up – Zoo Babies the set is called, next on the list is baby cards. Til tomorrow..
Kaisercraft tea Break number 4
A bit of humour today! Love this paper from Kaisercraft – Tea break. Vintage feel and great colours.I did something a bit different with all the corners – instead of rounding them I squared them off, I quite like the effect and will try this again one day – I used the little off cuts to stick in the opposite corners.did some matting as well, using some stampin up cardstock which matched in perfectly colourwise. Hope you all have a safe and happy new year, til tomorrow….
last stamped card, for now…
i say for now because I have been busy stamping this week, and we will get the camera out this weekend and take some photos!. On this card I have used two stamp sets from stampin up – Gorgeous grunge and By the sea shore. I used four ink pads ( stampin up daffodil delight, vherry cobbler, night of nave an early espresso. I stamped the crab seperately and fussy cut it out and layered it on top of a piece of hessian. i would like to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope you have a lovely, safe festive season surrounded by your nearest and dearest, and maybe manage to squeeze a little relaxing crafting in there too! I will take a couple of days break from my blog, and I will see you all at the end of the week…Til then…
kaisercraft Butterfly kisses number 4
Here is the last of my Kaisercraft butterfly Kisses card series. I embossed the cardstock base with cuttlebug swiss dots folder, added a layer of paper from the paper pad and a srip punched with martha stewart lace doily punch. A chipboard piece from the same range and a length of spotted ribbon to finish. Tomorrow I think we will have a look at some mens cards I have been working on. Today I have ahad a lovely day in the craft room, completing an order, making a start on february lessons and playing with my new graphic 45 couture collection papers – I will have to get Nathan busy with the camera this weekend! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses number 3
All I have used here is a small amount of patterned paper from the kaisercraft butterfly kisses paper pad, and one of the tags from the same pad.It is the layering on this card that adds interest and this is one of my favourite sketch ideas. I rounded the corners on the right hand side of all the layers, and added ribbon and rhinestones to finish. The card base is stampin up cardstock, and the other plain layer is Kaisercard.looking forward to 3 days off and some time spent in the card room this weekend setting up classes for February! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses number 2
Quite a late post tonight as it has been a very hot day today, and is only now starting to cool down just a little. The papers I used for this one are Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses , and I used a piece of stampin up cardstock for the base ( bermuda bay )the butterflies were fussy cut from a 12 x 12 sheet – and I am sure those of you who have done my classes will remember the day we used this sheet on our cards – my name was was mud that day with all the fussy cutting we did!I used Kaisercraft rhinestone strips on the butterflies, and a chipboard piece down in the corner. Til tomorrow….
kaisercraft tea break number 2

The banners are from the pack of collectables, and the sentiment is a stampin up stamp ( perfectly penned) . I wrapped the panel with bright ribbon and added some kaisercraft rhinestones to finish.
