Well thats the fair over for another year, and I had a lovely time, catching up with friends, making new ones, and selling lots of cards! It was straight back to work today, all I can say is roll on the end of the week when I start 2 weeks holidays! Todays cards are continuing on with Kaisercraft Say Aloha papers from the 6″ pad, and I stamped and coloured ( with prismacolour pencils) my Deep red stamp – this stamp has 4 girl images on it, and I separated them all as I use them separately.Bling and flowers on these ones finish them off. Til tomorrow….
I recently bought some copic colour markers and headed off to a beginners class to learn how to use them(!)and since then have been practising my colouring. Here are my first few attempts. The stamps are from my collection, the first is a magnolia stamp, and the last is a deep red stamp ( from a set of four…absolutely excellent stamp set) and I can’t remember the brand of the cupcake stamp.Anyway, I coloured, and then teamed the images with some bits and pieces I had left over from my Kaisercraft Velvet Crush collection and added assorted flowers and punched leaves to finish.Today I visited my hairdresser, who sells my cards in her salon, only to find she had sold every one of the wedding cards I had left with her. So tonight I will be in the craft room creating all things wedding…Til tomorrow…..
Here is a modern card with a vintage twist – Stampin Up afternoon Delight designer paper, and ribbon trim, stampin up Dress Up die,and vintage labels sentiment, and some lace, liquid pearls and scalloped pearls.Bit of a tidy out in the craft room today, sorting out my market boxes – i didn’t realise they were so empty! Lots of card making needed to fill them again! til tomorrow….
This is the last card for now in my Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden series. All the pieces on this card were fussy cut from the 12 x 12 papers, the greeting was from the pack of matching collectables. I backed the frame with a rectangle cut from La Carta paper bubble – strawberry Mousse. I love the texture of this cardstock, and will invest in some more colours next time I am at my favourite papercraft store! Til tomorrow….
This one was very simple to put together – a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, ( kaisercraft Enchanted garden collection) lots of fussy cut butterflies, and a ribbon bow!i have organised my craft room for my christmas card makes, and have started on them today. I will take a break from them now and again as I have discovered lots of papers that I haven’t even cut into yet.. so many gorgeous papers, not enough time to play with them all…… til tomorrow….
Here is a bit of a change from all the christmas cards! The paper collection is Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden, and here I have used the 12 x 12 papers, and fussy cut the butterfly, fairy, word and frame. The pink backing of the frame is something new – LaCarte paer Bubble – strawberry Mousse. It is a lovely cardstock with a bubble texture – I am a fan…busy in the craft room today setting up some lessons – one lesson down 2 more to go! til tomorrow….
I had started a new series yesterday, but I have abandoned it for the moment as one of my Ladies requested some ideas for useing her Stampin Up labels dies. i have come up with a few quick cards which i will show over the next couple of days. Here is the first, an easel card, Kaisercraft lavender haze 6 ” pad and collectables, but any paper will do – this ideas works for most, and stampin Up labels dies, cut twice in ever smaller sizes! a bit of glitz and rhinestones and finished! Over my tummy bug now but still a bit weak, so no craft room for me! Til tomorrow….
I still have a couple of male themed cards to show in my last series, but I have abandoned them for the time being, as i felt in the mood for something really girly! I thoroughly enjoyed making this card, as it fulfills all my crafting enjoyment requirements – a bit of fussy cutting ( the bodice was cut from an image from Stampin Up attic Boutique paper collection) and lots of lace and bling! The background paper is also from Attic Boutique ( stampin Up) and the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze. I tied a narrow ribbon and flower around the waist, and the skirt was made from a very wide piece of lace that I picked up from Spotlight.I added Kindyglitz to the bodice.
A very late post today, but today has just escaped from me and Nathan and I have just finished photoing my cards, which we usually do on a Sunday morning. This means the light was not good and to avoid putting up Nathans photo tent (which is impossible to fold back up) I was in the dark under the dining table which he assured me was the best place to take said photos. We will see when he has put them on the computer. Anyway on to todays card. No pretty papers today! Bazzil cardstock which i ran through the cuttlebug with my swiss dots embossing folder, and spellbinders dress forms die ( cut from a bit of a cereal packet and painted with crackle paint) The pretty lace is actually a curtain remnat, and the flowers were cut with my cricut and the flower shoppe cartridge. All that was needed then was a bit of ribbon, a paper flower and some liquid pearls. That’s it for today, but will see you all tomorrow. Til tomorrow…….
