Today I taught a lesson over at Paper Flourish, and as ever had a good time, and some laughs with my group of mature ladies. Last Friday I taught a lesson at the retirement village and the three cards here are the cards we made. We used kraft cardstock, and Kaisercraft Blae and Ivy 6″ paper pad, along with nestabilities Labels eight dies, assorted flowers, ribbon, sentiment stamps, liquid pearls -platinum, and a stampin up bird punch. Well I only got three of my xmas cards made last night as I got distracted (who knew that would happen?) and ended up making quite a few non xmas related cards. I can see its going to be a long journey for the xmas card making! Til tomorrow…..

Using My new supplies….
I have had lots of fun over the last couple of days using my new supplies! I made this card last night, using kaisercraft Miss Nellie papers, stampin up certainly celery ribbon, stampin up stamp set – friends 24-7,martha stewart punch, and for the flower I cut a few circles ( using my nestabilities) out of some websters pages netting – I bought a pack of the netting, it has 6 different colours in it so the flowers will be make repeat performances on a few cards, I really like them, and stuck a kaisercraft sparklet ( another new product) in the centre.I’m off to make some more fathers Day cards while the creativity is runnig.. Til Tomorrow….
Birds and Cages!
These are my kind of cards! The paper is gorgeous to work with – Prima Botanical collection, and perfect for backgrounds on cards like these. I used my cricut and the Serenade cartridge to cut the birds and cages in a couple of different sizes, then sponged the cages with Tim Holtz tea dye ink, and stamped the birds with a swirly stamp in versamark ink and brushed on some perfect pearls powder which brought up the swirls a treat! Also used were asorted flowers, leaf punches, lace and ribbon. Great fun! Til tomorrow…..
