Sorry I missed last night post, but I am not well – terribly sore throat – voice is not good, and I came home from work yesterday and fell asleep for a good long while! Still no better today, and I am hoping I am better for my class tomorrow otherwise I will be relying on sign language to give instructions! Todays card is the other card I had time to make using Prima Delight paper, ( love the image), and lace, flowers and a charm. I fussy cut the whole frame and mounted the girl image behind it. I think this evening I will pull out this paper and look at it again, see if I can do any more fussy cutting while I am watchingb tv. Til tomorrow….

Prima Delight number 1
I recently bought some new papers which included a new range by prima – Delight. This is my kind of paper – great for vintage cards. So far i have only made this one card using it – been a bit busy with xmas cards, but hope to get back to it very soon! I created a few layers for this card, and distressed and inkied all the edges. I made a flower with my sizzix tattered florals die and put it together with a stampin up antique brad. The little pearl swirls are also from Prima. today has gone by so quickly, and I haven’t created too much but am heading off to the craft room now for an hour or so.. bliss…. til tomorrow….
Stampin Up tea for two number 4
This is the last card using Tea for two designer paper ( stampin Up) for just now, and here, I have used very vanilla, basic grey and pink pirouette cardstock, ( embossed the vanilla with Stampin Up lacy Brocade embossing folder) and a couple of dies – spellbinders D-lites medallion four, and stampin up Dress up framelits. The sentiment is from my stampin up vintage verses set, and I added lace, ribbon, liquid pearls and a prima flower to finish.Today I bought up a storm buying lots of new release papers, and tonight I am going to spend some time going through them all, and fussy cutting some of them ready to use. Its still hot here, and it’s not good weather for crafting as the glue dries before you get it where you want it to go! Til tomorrow….
stampin up Tea for two number 2
A bit more paper from the Tea for two designer paper range from Stampin Up. This time I cut out some of the hexagonal paper, and layered it onto each other to make this hexagonal flower, and added an inked doily, a bit more paper wrapped in twine, and stamped a sentiment from the Vintage verses stamp set with soft suede ink. The embossed background was achieved with my stampin up honeycomb embossing folder onto very vanilla cardstock, and the card base is stampin Up Bashful Blue.I have finished making the sewing box I was doing, and am eager to get back to my cardmaking, but once again it is incredibly hot here, so it may be a cool night under the air conditioner watching t.v! Echo Park Love Story 4
Sorry People, this image appears to have missed quality control and is a little blurry! It is still in my Echo park love Story series, ( Only one more post of this paper and we move on to something else) and I have layered, inked and embossed on this one. The addition of an inked doily, stampin up ribbon, kaisercraft rosette, and phone die cut from kaisercraft timeless collectables, and this was a very quick one to complete. It is extremely hot here today, but I have so much crafting piling up in my room that I will have to make the effort this evening when it is cooler to sit in there and get things back under control – I have so many new products on my desk that I haven’t had time to play with and I am very grateful that I am on holidays at the end of next week! graphic 45 A Ladies Diary 12,13,14

While on Graphic 45 I thought I would show these three cards made using A Ladies Diary.Interesting story about the background paper on the top card – A workmate of my Husbands asked him if I could use old wallpaper sample books, which then duly made their way home, and the background paper on the top card is actually wallpaper! These books are terrific – if you can get your hands on any grab them!i also used a Cheery Lyn tropical flourish on this card too. The bottom two cards incorporate ribbon, lace, and an E.K.success fan border punch for that true vintage feel!Til tomorrow….
Prima Tea Thyme card
Now for a change from Christmas cards I made this one using Prima Tea Thyme patterned paper and my cuttlebug.the die I used were – spellbinders labels 17, lace doily accents, and Memory box La Rue Flourish. The sentiment ( Love it) is from a stampin Up set called Apothecary Art, and the pleated satin ribbon is also stampin Up. I just added lace and perfect pearls to this one to finish it.Tonight I want to spend a bit of time in the craft room, doing some special orders, but first I have to find my work table which is under such a pile of stuff! Til tomorow…
Christmas All is Bright 7 and 8
My Minds Eye All is Bright papers, and stickers. For these two cards I have teamed them with Spellbinders 2012 snowflake pendant die, and after I had die cut the snowflakes I used the waste as a stencil on the card on the right hand side. inking through it to leave the snowflake pattern on the cardstock. I really liked this look, and it has made me look at my waste offcuts in a new light – you may see more of this technique on other cards!I also used doilies on these two cards, and a bit of bakers twine and seam binding. They are quite a modern look and will be good for the younger members of my family. The cardstock I used is Stampin Up – Crumbcake, cherry cobbler and Baja Breeze. I have found some graphic 45 christmas paper from last year (aptly called Christmas Past!) in my craft room – it hasn’t been cut into so I can only think that I bought it after I had made last years cards, anyway that’s what I am playing with today, and thoroughly enjoying myself – I do love Graphic 45! Vintage style
A short break from all things christmas to have a look at some new papers I purchased a couple of weeks ago – they are Anna Griffin from the Camilla collection, and I only bought a few sheets, not the whole range, but I did also purchase the matching die cut embellishments. These papers were gorgeous to work with – I love the soft colours, and for this card I turned on the vintage flavour by adding lots of ribbon, lace and bling. I used my spellbinders Dress form die and painted the die cut with Viva Metallic silver paint, and had great fun dressing it! In the craft room today I am making more christmas cards, I have decided to do one day xmas and one day non xmas – that keeps the ideas fresh! Til tomorrow…
Prima songbird number 9
Here we are Prima songbird papers number 9, I am ready to move on, but we are so close to finished with this series, that we will carry on. Here I have matted the main image onto Stampin up early espresso cardstock, the banner was fussy cut from one of the papers, and I finished it all off with some gorgeous lace and a bit of bling.I am still battling this fluey thing, but did venture into the craft room today as sitting up is better than lying down – too much coughing when I am lying down – and I have made a start on a rather large order that came through yesterday.Til tomorrow….
