Christmas All is Bright 7 and 8

My Minds Eye All is Bright papers, and stickers. For these two cards I have teamed them with Spellbinders 2012 snowflake pendant die, and after I had die cut the snowflakes I used the waste as a stencil on the card on the right hand side. inking through it to leave the snowflake pattern on the cardstock. I really liked this look, and it has made me look at my waste offcuts in a new light – you may see more of this technique on other cards!I also used doilies on these two cards, and a bit of bakers twine and seam binding. They are quite a modern look and will be good for the younger members of my family. The cardstock I used is Stampin Up – Crumbcake, cherry cobbler and Baja Breeze. I have found some graphic 45 christmas paper from last year (aptly called Christmas Past!) in my craft room – it hasn’t been cut into so I can only think that I bought it after I had made last years cards, anyway that’s what I am playing with today, and thoroughly enjoying myself – I do love Graphic 45! Til tomorrow…

Anna Griffin camilla 3 and 4

Two together for this post! Still with Anna Griffin Camilla collection, and matching die – cuts. The lattice is a die by Cheery Lyn designs, ( number 2) and I added ribbon, magnolia chandelier garland drops, hat pins, perfect pearls and kindy glitz to finish. A Ladies Diary Number 11

A Ladies diary paper by Graphic 45…. also used the matching chipboard and stickers on this card, and added a little lace and some authentique vintage buttons picked up from an op shop! I have been making great inroads into my christmas cards over the past couple of days – I still have to make close to 60 more, but there is light at the end of the christmas card tunnel. Nathan and I spent this morning taking photos of my latest cards, so we will start on them tomorrow. I have enjoyed playing with a few new christmas papers, so can’t wait to show you all! Til tomorrow…

Graphic 45 A ladies diary number 9

Still clearing my files, and here is another Graphic 45 A ladies Diary card. I used stampin Up Early espresso cardstock, and the stickers and chipboard that came with the ladies diary collection. I used up a scrap of lace under the chipboard, and The Brad is a stampin up vintage brad. I got my order from Kay today, so much new stuff to play with – I am beside myself! I have to clear a project on my desk, then it’s out with all the goodies..Til tomorrow….

Daydream Medallions

When I went to Canberra with Kay one of the stamp sets we received was Daydream Medallions. When I saw it, I didn’t think it would be one that I would use. A very good friend used it and I was hooked! This is my first card using it, but I have since made many more and  alot of them are christmas themed, so they will be up here at some stage. For this one though, I used early espresso cardstock, as the base and Very Vanilla. The base card is stamped with a little flower stamp from the Bliss set, as is the butterfly, sadly not available any more.I stamped the daydream dedallions in early espresso and soft suede ink, and fussy cut around both, and layered them on top of each other. I then stamped another stamp of the set in the centre.Another stamp set we received was Memorable Moments, and it is great – a couple of sentiment stamps, but more importantly numbers! I am now making lots of age themed cards. I don’t have to rely on stickers any more! I stuck some kaisercraft pearls around the medallion and that part was finished. I then ran some Very Vanilla cardstock through my cuttlebug using the Stampin Up vintage wallpaper folder, which I had inked over with early esprsso ink – on reflection next time I would use the lighter ink. A bit of lace trim and done! I went up to  Paper Flourish today and stocked up on all the new kaisercraft christmas paper, and tonight I will be preparing some lessons for October using some of it – lovely vintage style paper it is too, just my thing!I also bought some new spellbinder dies, so can’t wait to have a play with them as well. Til tomorrow….

Prima songbird number 9

Here we are Prima songbird papers number 9, I am ready to move on, but we are so close to finished with this series, that we will carry on. Here I have matted the main image onto Stampin up early espresso cardstock, the banner was fussy cut from one of the papers, and I finished it all off with some gorgeous lace and a bit of bling.I am still battling this fluey thing, but did venture into the craft room today as sitting up is better than lying down – too much coughing when I am lying down – and I have made a start on a rather large order that came through yesterday.Til tomorrow….

London Market number 3

This is another card made with my Pink Paislee London market 6″ papers, and ephemera pack. I added some Stampin Up goodies to this one my young vermillion stamp – first stamped then coloured with my sponge daubers, and leaves die cut with my little leaves die, and some bakers twine to thread through the bunting. I have turned on the heater in the craft room, and intend to have a long session in there tonight – I am feeling very creative! Til tomorrow….

Pink Paisley London market

Last night found me playing with Pink Paisley London Market 6 x6 collage pack, and matching ephemera pack, which I have had for a little while, but have been too busy to open . I couldn’t resist showing this one this week as it’s perfect timing, what with the Queens Diamond jubilee celebrations so I have interupted my male cards series and we will get back to them tomorrow. The only other products on this card are – Stampin Up perfectly Penned stamp set and stampin up bakers twine.Tomorrow will be a very early post as I will be setting up my stall for the craft fair later in the afternoon. Til tomorrow….

Magnolia grove 3

Still with kaisercraft Magnolia Grove papers, this time the 6″ pad,a flourish die cut from my memory box fauntleroy crest and another of my homemade crocheted doilies, prima stick pin lovely silk ribbon and a flower which has a story…. One day at the market the lady on the next stall had antique bits and pieces including a stool with a straw hat on it . someone bought the stool but didn’t want the straw hat – but it was covered in these roses so I offered to buy it and such a nice lady – she gave it to me! I am now the pround owner of 50 of these roses, so you will see them pop up now and again! Til tomorrow….
