Days of December..

have thoroughly enjoyed creating with this paper collection from Uniquely Creative called Days of December. Lots of vintage opportunities, as well as really cute little images. you can see I created in a couple of different styles with these four cards. I have had another good week of creating, but I have packed up Christmas and moved on to some very bright cards which I will show you all in a couple of weeks once we have caught up with my Christmas makes. The weather here is still not summer, but I am not complaining! Quite enjoying the mild spring weather and even the occasional hail and thunder storm.Til next time, stay safe…

Prima Christmas in the Country part 2…

IMG_1484IMG_1485IMG_1486Here are the other three cards I made with Prima Christmas in the Country. I made these ( and the previous three cards) as a pack for my ladies, so there are six different papers out of the A4 paper pad, a few Prima holly branches ( gorgeous), a couple of metals and some cardstock. They are very simple to put together and I love the vintage feel! This week i have had a break from crafting as I did painting of a different nature and painted nathans bedroom. I am clearly a very messy painter as I am still trying to remove the splatters from my arms, legs and even toes!! Today I am looking forward to resuming my usual seat at my craft desk! til next time….

Prima Christmas in the Country..

IMG_1481IMG_1482IMG_1483We are deep into Christmas card making now and these are cards I made with my second Christmas paper purchase..Prima Christmas in the country. I just used the A4 pad, and did some fussy cutting. With the addition of a holly die, some Prima holly leaves, lace, metals and some matting these cards came together easily. I have moved away from papers now and have started doing some die cutting and embossing to make full use of all my Christmas dies – those ones will be up after next week when we finish with the Prima! Til next time….

IMG_1558IMG_1559IMG_1560IMG_1561IMG_1562Five more Christmas cards made with Stamperia Pink Christmas. I have done a couple more with this paper collection, and still have papers to do more, but we will move on next week with something a little different! In the meantime these ones speak for themselves… except for a little lace and flowers on a couple of them it is all just the paper. Great value collection!Yesterday I had a lovely day meeting up with a gathering of fellow crafters. We had a great time and lots of projects and ideas were shared.I can’t wait til we meet up again next month! Til next time ….

Stamperia Pink Christmas

IMG_1569IMG_1568IMG_1567IMG_1570This week I have been making Christmas cards with Stamperia Pink Christmas paper collection. This collection is rich with beautiful vintage images, and I have made 14 cards so far, with more to make!Needless to say I will have to show you these split over a few blogs! I used all sorts of bits and pieces..resin frames, lace, metals, flowers and ribbon but I also made some with no extra bits at all as shown in the top card. The third card is a gatefold card so is decorated inside as well. I can also report that I have finally finished preparing the cruise cards and can now concentrate fully on Christmas cards! I will be back soon to show you some more Stamperia cards, Til next time…..

Last three lemoncraft Yuletide today..

_MG_9680_MG_9682_MG_9684Today we say farewell to my Lemoncraft Paper makes, and these three are made in the same way as the cards on the previous post. I have used a lot of the molds that I made on these cards, and I painted them with prima alchemy paints. I have been busy finishing off my January classes, and they are done now so I have a little window of time to do some ” me ” crafting, and I am thinking wedding cards,I have some new stamps and dies to try out  although you know these plans could go out the window when I actually sit down to craft! Til tomorrow….

Lemoncraft Yuletide collection, easel cards..

_MG_9677_MG_9678_MG_9679I made 6 Easel cards with lemoncraft Yuletide collection, I will show the other 3 next time…Most of the extra bits I added were already on my craft desk, The middle card has a frame I made with a mold and gap filler ( from the hardware shop) and painted with prima alchemy paints. the bottom card has as it’s stopper a Christmas tree decoration which I rubbed with some Nuvo copper mousse to give it a bit of shine. other than a bit of ribbon and lace the rest was  various papers from the collection and a little fussy cutting. Today is my day off, and it is really hot here (35C) . Nathan and I have been grocery shopping, it’s all put away and we are exhausted! I doubt today will be a crafty day, maybe a good day to write out my Christmas cards! Til tomorrow….

More Vintage Lemoncraft Yuletide..

_MG_8318 (Medium)_MG_8337 (Medium)_MG_8338 (Medium)It is still Lemoncraft yuletide designer paper collection on my blog today, lots of matting, and using little leftover scraps as banners, a bit of fussy cutting and not too much more embellishing required, just bits of gold thread, and ribbon. The bottom card had a doily and a foiled chipboard pinecone as well. Everything is inked with tea Dye distress ink.  Today is my craft and chat group so I am off to get some projects sorted although more  chat than craft takes place! Til tomorrow….

IMG_8105 (Large)IMG_8106 (Large)Here are the other two Mintay Christmas Stories cards I made before I got distracted by other equally beautiful Christmas papers! I did a lot of fussy cutting here, and didn’t add too much more – just a little bling and sparkle! This week has been very busy at work, I haven’t had any home time to craft, and working tomorrow as well so not looking good for weekend crafting either..never mind I am sure I will make up for that next week! Til tomorrow…..
