Todays cards are made with kaisercraft ladylike 6″ pad, and matching collectables. I only bought one of the 12 x 12 sheets..the one with all the roses on it.. a fussy cutters dream paper! I have added lots of lovely lace, flowers and die cut branches and leaves. I love the colours of this paper, and have just made and made with it. I will be missing for a week or two, as my cruise leaves on Monday. I have already packed my cruise class suitcase and I am looking forward to meeting lots of lovely crafters. I will be back! til next time….
This week I purchased Kaisercraft lady like 6″ pad, a packet of collectables, and a couple of sheets of the 12 x 12 papers. After a lovely afternoon of fussy cutting, dinner was put on the back burner ( literally!) while I made this first card.. I just couldn’t resist ! For this one I used the 12 x 12 papers, and the die is a Uniquely Creative little Leaves die. Today roast is in the oven and I am off to make more, this time with lots of lace, ribbon and bling… til next time…
Today we say farewell to my Lemoncraft Paper makes, and these three are made in the same way as the cards on the previous post. I have used a lot of the molds that I made on these cards, and I painted them with prima alchemy paints. I have been busy finishing off my January classes, and they are done now so I have a little window of time to do some ” me ” crafting, and I am thinking wedding cards,I have some new stamps and dies to try out although you know these plans could go out the window when I actually sit down to craft! Til tomorrow….
It is still Lemoncraft yuletide designer paper collection on my blog today, lots of matting, and using little leftover scraps as banners, a bit of fussy cutting and not too much more embellishing required, just bits of gold thread, and ribbon. The bottom card had a doily and a foiled chipboard pinecone as well. Everything is inked with tea Dye distress ink. Today is my craft and chat group so I am off to get some projects sorted although more chat than craft takes place! Til tomorrow….
I made these two shabby chic style cards with an old Prima range that I found in the craft room, lots of layering of the matching empheria and a die cut gate…I think that was a stampin Up die, a few flowers and some of the frames and swirls that I made with silicone molds and No More Gaps ( from the local hardware shop!) I painted them with some Prima Alchemy paints. A day off today, so i have done my grocery shopping, planned what we are having for tea, and now time to think about some November lessons! Til tomorrow…..
I have managed to find a little time to play with Kaisercraft Miss Betty. This is my favourite kind of paper, it has a vintage shabby kind of look and I can go to town using my ribbons and lace! For todays card I distressed all of my edges ( 12 x 12 papers) and inked them with tea dye distress ink. I did some die cutting, including a lovely leaf die which I used on an old book page, and inked with more tea dye ink, and added some of the collectables from the same range , extra flowers, pearl strip, and a ribbon bow.Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft high Tea..this time the 6″ pad, and another of those gorgeous resin frames which I backed with a scrap of patterned paper and added a punched butterfly to. Lots of ribbon and lace, and some liquid pearls for texture. The sentiment was in the 6″ pad. Yesterday was a productive day in the craft room, I finished off a couple of projects, came up with a couple of designs for the cruise cards, and did a couple of cards for a challenge which I needed for todays crafty meeting with friends. The challenge was Autumn so I am interested to see what everyone else has come up with. Til tomorrow….
AS promised, I finally found my way back to Kaisercraft Madamoiselle paper collection! I abandoned this collection before playing properly with it due to Christmas makes and Cruise set up, but the other day I found it again and made some more cards with it. This is the first one, 12 x 12 papers for matting, with some embossing brown cardstock in between the layers. A dress form from the matching collectables pack, a doily layered in there too, some die cut leaves, and flowers and ribbon to finish. I edged around everything with tea dye distress ink, and the sentiment is from the matching 6″ pad.Over the next few weeks I will be going through my papers, having a bit of a clear out, I will take them to the craft fair with me . I always have trouble doing this – as I pull the papers out I see ideas and end up spending all my time crafting and not tidying..so we will see how I go..Til tomorrow….
A new series today, this one is Prima Rossibelle papers, and I bought the matching chipboard and flowers as well. For this first card I cut the paper so that the birdcage was positioned on the left hand side of the card, fussy cut some paper with the lacy border, tucked lace behind , and added a prima flower, ribbon, little punched flowers and a punched tim holtz butterfly. I went searching through my bits and pieces to find anything copper related because I thought copper would be a good fit with this paper and found some copper sequins, pearls, glitter paper and even copper sticker sentiments so they all found their way onto the card! The die I used for the leafy flourish is called just that and is by Paper Rose.Til tomorrow….
