The paper collection is Kaisercraft on this day, and I have used a bit of a 12 x 12 sheet for the background, and some collectables and ribbon. Lots of layering on this one! Kaisercraft On This Day 6″paper pad, collectables, and the sentiment was from a bit of the 12 x 12 paper. Kaisercraft On this day number 3
A wedding card today, made with kaisercraft On this day 6″paper pad and collectables. I sponged all my edges with Spun Sugar distress ink, and added a satin ribbon , lace and some prima flowers to finish.Today I have moved on from little girl cards, and made some cards with just a few sheets of bo bunny paper that I picked up last month. I am gradually working my way through the backlog of older paper, but to be honest I can’t even see where I have taken it from…. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Telegraph Road number 2
Todays Kaisecraft Telegraph Road card uses a corner of a 12 x12 sheet and the matching collectables. I was going for a collage effect, so layered a few of the collectables on top of easch other. I did some punching with martha stewart punches for the leave and flowers ( leaf and hyacinth punches) and added some gold liquid pearls and kindyglitz to finish. the cardstaock and sentiment stamp are from stampin up. Tilda country escape number 6
Tilda country escape 12 ” pad, and spellbinders Persian motifs die. A similar sketch to yesterdays card, with less ribbon, and a smaller spellbinders die, but I still inked all my edges with tea dye ink,and embellished with some kindyglitz and liquid pearls. That is all I have done with this range so far, so tomorrow we will find something else to look at! today I have been playing around with some heat embossing and sprays, just experimenting really, sometimes it’s just fun to go into the craft room , pull out a few things and see what happens! til tomorrow….
Tilda Country Escape number 5
This next group of cards that Nathan and I photographed is a real mix and match! This one is a vintage style card, which I made with Tilda Country Escape papers. They came in a 12 x 12 pad, and there were a few pages of die cuts included in the pad which made it great value.I have run 2 strips of paper down the card and hidden the join with a wide ribbon. I used another wide ribbon for the bow, added a die cut ( spellbinders persian motifs) and some liquid pearls. I inked around all my pieces with tea dye distress ink, in keeping with the whole vintage style. I am off now to organise Nathan to get the camera out and photo some new cards, til tomorrow….
Prima Anna Marie number 7
here is a familiar card layout for all of you that follow my blog – it is a favourite of mine. I have used prima Anna Marie paper, chipboard and brad, and rounded all my corners with a corner rounder. The flower is die cut with stampin up sizzix blossom party die, and the flourish is a magnolia dohickey.A simple layered card tonight! I have been in the craft room for a short while this afternoon, stamping out some mens cards, but I really don’t seem to be achieving very much!Oh well – it’s relaxing and that is the main thing! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft tea Break number 4
A bit of humour today! Love this paper from Kaisercraft – Tea break. Vintage feel and great colours.I did something a bit different with all the corners – instead of rounding them I squared them off, I quite like the effect and will try this again one day – I used the little off cuts to stick in the opposite corners.did some matting as well, using some stampin up cardstock which matched in perfectly colourwise. Hope you all have a safe and happy new year, til tomorrow….
Tilda Country Escape number 4
Tilda Country escape 12 x 12 paper pad, with a die cut from the pad, and again a very similar sketch to the previous cards but this time I have turned it 90 degrees. I made a little tag for the sentiment, and added more ribbon and lace to finish. A very lazy day day today, with some card making – mainly just finishing projects, and it’s back to work tomorrow. til tomorrow….
