Two more cards made with graphic 45 Le Amour papers, from the range of 12 x 12 papers. the top card is highlighted with 2 die cut feathers – the left one is a kaisercraft die, while the one on the right is a freebie from a card making magazine. Some sequins, ribbon bow and silver thread to finish. For the bottom card I only covered 1/2 the card with paper, and left some just the bare cardstock ( something I rarely do), and used a martha stewart edge punch in black cardstock and a piece of pink ribbon to separate the two parts. I layered the rose image a few times, and added a bow to complete this one.I had a pleasant start to my week off by going to the pictures with Mum.I had a couple of free tickets, and we saw Lady in a Van. A nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon!Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Le amour 5 and 6

Some cards over the next couple of days from a range from Graphic 45 , Le Amour. The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and just a ribbon bow, whereas the bottom card has a bit more work – I die cut a dress form with a kaisercraft die, and a small doily ( also kaisercraft) and added a ribbon, gold thread and a stampin up cream ribbon rose for some added texture. Today while shopping a had a look at some greeting cards, just out of curiosity – I haven’t bought a card for years, and I couldn’t believe the prices!! $10 for a card! Wow! I will stick to making mine – I save money and relax at the same time – it’s win win! Til tomorrow…..
Very Vintage

I can’t remember at all what company brought out these papers, and I was actually very surprised to see them in the group we are working our way through! I would imagine it was a collection that came out just after christmas when life was hugely busy and i bought without paying too much attention! anyway i obviuosly made a couple of quick cards with it before I filed it away, and I am sure we will see it again at a future date!!Simple cards, with inked edges ,lace and ribbon.( and a bit of fussy cutting). It is horrendously humid here today and there will be no sitting in the craft room. I have spent some time working on the family tree, and I am at apoint where I have to confer with dad, so that is where I will be this afternoon – besides they have refridgerated air conditioning which is not affected by humidity like our unit is! Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home, kitchen tea
My sister was going to a kitchen tea, so I made her this card. I shaped the front of the card base like an apron, and then covered it and the inside with graphic 45 Home sweet home paper. I made a pocket for the front of the apron, and didn’t stick down the top edge so that I could pop a recipe card in it – the graphic 45 Home sweet home collection had these in the collection. Ribbon, and lace to finish! The weather here is much milder this week,so I am feeling a lot more comfortable, although it is heating up again for the weekend so I will make the most of the cooler weather while it’s here!Til tomorrow….
Farewell kaisercraft Bonjour…

For the next couple of days you will see a last few cards from kaisercraft Bonjour paper collection ( sorry the bottom card is a little blurry – Nathan must have sneezed!).I made a final 1/2 dozen or so before consigning the leftover papers and collectables to the craft fair pile. The top card has some fussy cutting, punched leaves, flowers and a die cut – Couture Creations Albert and Simonnetta, although I dispensed with Albert and just used Simonetta! Love how her name is French – fitted with the theme perfectly! I die cut her first on plain cardstock ( flesh toned) and then again on patterned paper and cut out the bits I wanted. The bottom card is all papers, layers and fussy cutting. I must go and pack my bag – I am off to the retirement village to teach a lesson this afternoon – looking forward to seeing my ladies! kaisercraft telegraph road.

I made these cards for a village class, so I kept them quite simple. The paper is from kaisercraft – telegraph road, and I added some lace, ribbon and flowers, punched leaves and stamped sentiments.Well, we are still hot here in adelaide,so far this month we haven’t had a day under 25c, so quite looking forward to winter this year!! I started work super early today, so home early, I am going to prepare some tea, and have a nice seat under the air conditioner duct with my book. Til tomorrow….
Secret Garden ..

WordPress has changed how I post on my blog, and I don’t like it! even Nathan my go to techie son is having problems, so I hope this works! Todays card is still kaisercraft Secret garden, the second to last card in this series ( for now) I couldn’t lose this paper, and have filed it away for future card making. This card has lots of goodies on it – punched leaves and butterflies, ribbon, lace ( a find from a country second hand shop), a doily, flowers and a collectable doily as well. i think this is my favourite, but I do love this paper. Today is a lovely day here weather wise, not too hot, so a good day for a bit of house keeping before a couple of hours in the craft room. til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Gilded Lily 3 and 4

Another two cards made with graphic 45 Gilded Lily paper collection. a bit of fussy cutting on the top card, and just some images from the papers on the bottom card. love the pinks/blues in this paper. today I am in the craft room ( got to love public holidays!) and I am working with more graphic 45 paper – Mon Amour – making some cards suitable for young ladies, and while i am creating i am thinking about my new years resolution – I have a feeling it’s going to be the same as last year – I will share later in the week! til tomorrow…..
Grap0hic 45 a gilded Lily

I Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas break!Today I am showing a couple of side stepper cards I made with graphic 45 A gilded lily paper collection. I have done a very quick and easy youtube video tutorial on how to do these shaped cards – I have adjusted the measurements so that they fit into a standard envelope, and I think they still have the same wow factor..the link is over here on the right hand side of my blog. All I added to these was some ribbon and lace, and fussy cutting of the papers added the rest of the decoration. Today is a gorgeous day here in Adelaide, a much nicer 27C expected today, and a perfect day to relax and recover from the Christmas madness! til tomorrow…
