Prima Something blue number 1

IMG_0295 (Medium)Recently i bought some of the new Prima Something blue collection. I bought the A4 paper pad and a pack of atc sized cards – I think there were 36 or 48 cards – ( I will check before next blog post and let you know) and these cards had all sorts of images on them. This is the first card I made using them.I did some layering, sponged the edges with tea dye distress ink and rounded my corners. I added some lace and ribbon and liquid pearls, and a vintage style card done! til tomorrow….

Prima tea Thyme number 3

Todays card uses Prima Tea Thyme patterned papers, and a couple of dies – memory box la rue flourish, and Sizzix Tim Holtz caged bird. The bird I used in the cage is from a packet of Prima resist canvas. these are wonderful things! You can colour them to match your project, and when you do a pattern appears on the canvas! Wonderful! I just added some seam binding and bling to finish.I completed my special orders today, and am now back to Christmas cards. It’s back to work tomorrow so probably won’t get too much achieved in the craft room until the end of the week – til tomorrow….

Christmas cards 2012 Vintage

The paper is Stampin Up Be Of Good Cheer, and the greeting is a stamp from the Welcome Christmas stampin up set. embellishments used were – bling strips, craftworks candi ( gold), Rouge perfect pearls, lace and ribbon. Looking forward to spending a couple of hours in the craft room unwinding tonight – Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 a ladies diary card number 3

This is my favourite piece of paper from the Graphic 45 a ladies Diary  collection, so didn’t do too much to it – just sponged around the edges, and mounted it on a couple of layers of bazzil cardstock, before mounting that onto another piece of patterned paper and then the whole lot onto my stampin Up Blushing Bride cardstock base. I added a matching chipboard, piece of lace and a stampin Up vintage brad.Hope to get into the card room tonight – I have put a heater in there so no excuse! Til tomorrow…..

Nature garden 2 – For mum…

For this mothers day card I have used Prima Nature garden, and fussy cut on of the bird images from one of the sheets of patterned paper. I found a kaisercraft acrylic overlay in a drawer which went perfectly over the top for this design, and all i had to add was a length of gold lace. I spent a lovely morning at Paper flourish setting up my May lesson, and i plan to spend some time in my craft room tonight – I haven’t spent much time in there this week, and I have a few ideas I want to try out. Til tomorrow…..

Timeless Vintage

This paper is from a 6″ pad called Vintage Timeless that kaisercraft released a couple of months a go, but due to the ammount of xmas cards I have made I really haven’t had time to create with it yet, but I have a couple of cards to show over the next couple of days. there are all sorts of images in this pad, including a couple of pages of butterflies, which I very quickly fussy cut  – my favourite thing! All I added was a bit of maroon lace – after all what is vintage without the lace? A long hard day at work today, so I don’t think I will be visiting the craft room, but at least I have 2 days off now and will be continuing on in my bid to clear some space in my paper drawers.. Til tomorrow….

Garden gala

Todays card was made using Websters pages Garden gala paper, with the addition of some flowers,a leaf , bling flourish and a bit of lace. I added some layering, and there you are, a card with a bit of a vintage feel! Very busy at work with 6 am starts, so a bit tired in the evenings, and not much crafting happening through the week. Bit sad…. til tomorrow….

Odds and Ends

This card was made a little while ago using Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends patterned paper and just a couple of buttons.I had to rumage around in my drawers (Dad would have a field day with that one ladies, but you all know what I mean)  to find out the name of the paper for this post, and discovered a 6″ paper pad, barely used, and an elements sheet to match, so I will be revisiting this paper in the near future! Til tomorrow…..
