On my desk was some very thick acetate from packaging and it was perfect to make this card. I took a square blank card and chopped a large piece from the front middle section, and replaced it with the acetate, keeping cardstock at the bottom of the card for weight and balance.( I attached lace to this piece). The rest of the card was decorated with various pieces of patterned paper from the Graphic 45 range.. Portrait of a Lady. The front image was attached behind the acetate with very small glue dots. Although they are just visible they are not too noticable. I added lots of flowers and some punched greenery in the left corner. This is a favourite card and will be hard to sell! Today is going to be a day spent in the craft room, I haven’t had much time to get in there and just create lately so I am looking forward to it! til tomorrow…..

A little bit vintage….
There is quite a bit happening on todays card so we will get right into it! Everything has the edges sponged with Tea Dye distress ink pad. The background layer, bracket shape, and sentiments are from Kaisercraft Madamoiselle 6″ pad, and the layer on top is from the cut apart 12 x 12 paper from the same range. On this piece I used a stampin up fancy corner punch . The foilage is a kaisercraft die, the flowers are from Prima and Green tara, and I also added flat backed pearls, a ribbon bow, fussy cut butterfly ( from the same paper range) and kindyglitz. Kaisercraft Mademoiselle 7..
This one is a favourite because it has everything on it that I love…Lace, pleated ribbon ( stampin up), gorgeous prima flowers, flat backed pearls and mini foilage ( kaisercraft Die). The papers are from the Madamoiselle collection ( 6″ pad) and the butterfly is fussy cut from a piece of 12 x 12 paper from the same range. We had a very busy day at work yesterday with the huge clearance sale, so today is all about catching up with some work around here, visiting Mum for her birthday, and then into the craft room to make some card orders! Kaisercraft Madamoiselle 5 and 6…

Two cards today made with kaisercraft Madamoiselle papers ( because I may not be back here until Sunday…Big sale to prepare for at Paper Flourish). I love the top card, the butterfly is so beautiful, I fussy cut it from one of the 12 x 12 papers, and added some feelers and bling to it. I embossed some brown cardstock, die cut a fancy flourish circle , and added it all to a yellow cardbase. A few yellow flowers ,and a ribbon bow made this one totally different to all the other cards I made with this collection. The second card is back to vintage, with papers from the 6″ pad, lace, doily, collectables from the matching pack, a punched flower ( built up, shaped and with a bit of bling)punched leaves and of course a ribbon bow! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Madamoiselle number 4…
AS promised, I finally found my way back to Kaisercraft Madamoiselle paper collection! I abandoned this collection before playing properly with it due to Christmas makes and Cruise set up, but the other day I found it again and made some more cards with it. This is the first one, 12 x 12 papers for matting, with some embossing brown cardstock in between the layers. A dress form from the matching collectables pack, a doily layered in there too, some die cut leaves, and flowers and ribbon to finish. I edged around everything with tea dye distress ink, and the sentiment is from the matching 6″ pad.Over the next few weeks I will be going through my papers, having a bit of a clear out, I will take them to the craft fair with me . I always have trouble doing this – as I pull the papers out I see ideas and end up spending all my time crafting and not tidying..so we will see how I go..Til tomorrow….
Yesterday – Indigo Skies on the craft table..
One of Kaisercraft’s new ranges this month is called Indigo Skies. Lots of blues and greys in this range, but because I had picked up so much of the other release ( High Tea) I only chose 3 sheets of this range because I knew I wouldn’t get the time to use it all. Anyway, I sat down with my 3 sheets and made 4 cards, also 2 cards with matching decorated boxes, and decorated these two frames. I will get Nathan to photo the rest properly, but I wanted to share my frames straight away. The butterflies are fussy cut from one of the Indigo Skies 12 x 12 sheets ( one full sheet of gorgeous butterflies to fussy cut..this sheet formed the basis for all my makes) and the background is from another sheet of the same range. Everything else – frames ( free with a magazine years ago),flowers, lace, pretty die cuts, lace and pearls string were all found in a rummage through my craft room. Today I must make a birthday card for my son Daniel so that I can get it in the post, and I have a lesson half completed on my desk which I will finish . Til tomorrow…..
Tie Dyed t-shirt card
This is the first card I made with my new stampin up stamp set..Custom Tee, so I was really just getting the feel of the stamps. The background paper was just a scrap on my table as were the felt flowers and button. I stamped the t-shirt on plain white card, cut it out and used my copic markers to do the tie-dye design ( will practise that a bit more!) The Vintage sentiment is in the same stamp set, and the happy birthday is from another stampin up set. All of a sudden I have a few projects on the go.. thinking about a whole new range of cards to do for our cruise next year, I am making a box for a challenge, still need some wedding cards, new kaisercraft paper to play with and some village lesson cards to prepare. My sister gave me some new stampin up stamp sets yesterday and so I am itching to try them out too….ahhh life’s good! til tomorrow….
The Last Cherry Tree Lane card ( 15)
I can’t promise this card ( made with kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane 6″paper pad) won’t be the last, but it is for quite a while! The image in the centre is from the 12 x 12 cut apart sheet from the same collection, and I trimmed the sides with lace, and cut a banner shape to frame it. A light pink ribbon bow to finish. Yesterday i bought some new Kaisercraft High Tea papers, so beautiful, and I can’t wait to start making with it but first this week I have to make some wedding cards to fill my box, The June long weekend craft fair is not far away, and I have to start preparing for it! Til tomorrow….
Finally! The final Ooh La La card! ( 17!)
Here is my last ( I promise…maybe) Kaisercraft Ooh La La card. 17 cards with this paper! This one is the easiest one yet.A piece of 12 x 12 cut apart paper with a bow made from some of the 6″ pad paper. The bow was done with my Stampin Up bow punch. Most of the cards in this series were made when I had injured my shoulder and couldn’t use my die cutting machine,so I really relied on the papers, it was an interesting exercise. Tomorrow i start my new job at Paper Flourish. So looking forward to it, I can’t wait, surrounded by temptation all day!But for today, it’s grocery shopping and quite a hot day so a quiet day inside. Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 15 and 16..

Two cards today, made with kaisercraft Ooh La La, and some white space.I don’t often leave white space on my cards, but I like these and will experiment with more white space cards in the future. There is a mixture of fussy cut images, and collectables on both cards, with a little ribbon, a lace flower and just a couple of flowers.I spent a lovely afternoon in the craft room yesterday, I did miss crafting while I was away. This afternoon I am popping in there to make Mum and Dad a 61st wedding anniversary card and I have been doing a little tidying as I go too.Til tomorrow….
