This is a wedding card I made for an order,I usually take inspiration for the colours for wedding cards from the colours of the invitation, in this case it was white, black and silver. The small amount of patterned paper is from kaisercraft After 5 collection, as is the label with the sentiment ( stampin Up mr. and mrs stamp)and the die cuts which are from the collectable pack The two hearts are die cut with Do Crafts x-cut hearts and I ran them through a couple of different embossing folders to add a little texture. All that was left to do was add bling, lace and a flower! I have had a hugely enjoyable day in the craft room today, it’s been a shabby chic day in there today, and a little tidying up and using some old stash happened as well. All in all very productive! A wedding card
I I did this card for an order, and the colour scheme was based on the colour scheme of the invitation – all cream and white. The cardstock is a lovely pearlescent cardstock, and the bottom of the card has a specialty paper that is very textured. I cut my hearts with an x-cut heart die, and added a heart buckle to my ribbon. I used a swiss dots embossing folder on the bottom heart for a little more texture, and just used peel offs for the sentiment which was stuck on to a spellbinders label 17 die cut which had been trimmed to size. All that was needed to finish were a few kaisercraft pearls.Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start when it comes to colours for a wedding card if you don’t know the Brides colour scheme, but in those situations I don’t think you can go wrong copying the colour scheme of the invitation – there’s usually a hint there! Bo Bunny Enchanted 2
Yesterday was an engagement card, and today is a Wedding card! Here I have used Stampin up basic black cardstock with a few of Bo Bunnys’ Noteworthy Journal die cuts ( Enchanted) layered on top of one another, and edges inked. I have also added flowers and beaded ribbon. Mum, Kay and I had a lovely day visiting a crafty friend who lives in the Adelaide hills, so we had a nice drive, and stopped to by some fresh produce from a roadside stall on the way. Very relaxing, and just what the doctor ordered after a busy week at work.Tonight I intend to continue crafting with the supplies I pulled out today to take to Sandy’s as I have to confess we did a fair amount of chatting and not too much crafting! Great fun…. Til tomorrow…..
Victoria Gardens Wedding card
Anniversary/wedding/engagement
Todays card is a bit of a break from Mothers day cards – I used Kaisercraft Chanteuse patterned papers, Early espresso and blushing bride Stampin up cardstock, and used my cuttlebug to die cut the hearts. I have used this kaisercraft paper a lot this year for Mothers day cards, I love it! Have a queue today waiting to use the computer, so a quick post today .Til tomorrow…..
