Marathon cardmaking Day

Today  was a good day for 2 reasons. Firstly I found my missing acrylic block – Yay !! and secondly we had a marathon cardmaking day  with the ladies from the Winzor Retirement village to make xmas cards for the troops. I have a few photos to show you the fun we had. Here is Kay and myself conferring over a design.

Here are our ladies hard at work, but notice Kay has disappeared and her desk is suspiciously tidy! Not sure where she went, but there was a boisterous game of pool going on in the room next door, so maybe she went to join the gentlemen !

Here is a shot of our volunteer cook waiting to serve us lunch (thank you Dad!)

My photographer left just after lunch, and took this photo of the cards we had completed up until then. Kay will have a photo of the whole lot completed on her blog at some stage, the final count was 116! not a bad effort for a little group of very keen cardmakers. Thank you ladies!Watch this space  as my photographer is preparing a link to somewhere ( I just nod and agree – I don’t know what he means)  so that you can see all the photos he took today. Til tomorrow….
