Prima Sweet peppermint continued..

img_3316-mediumimg_3318-mediumContinuing on with Prima Sweet peppermint, the top card makes use of the collectables pack which also had the sequins in it, and I slipped a little scrap glitter cardstock between the layers for some twinkle. The bottom card has a Christmas tree die cut with a kaisercraft die – I had just purchased this die and wanted to try it out, and I love it, but sadly it wasn’t too long after this that I injured my shoulder and all further die cutting went out the window, so this die will keep until next christmas! I am visiting Mum and dad today, with my sister as we do every weekend, but today I am taking a box of cardstock and dies and embossing folders and I will ask my mum and sister to do some die cutting for me as I have a large Christmas card order to prepare. Thankfully my Dr. tells me we are aiming for back to normal by christmas day! Til tomorrow….

Prima Sweet Peppermint

img_3314-mediumimg_3315-mediumToday we start a new series, Christmas cards made with Prima Sweet Peppermint.I purchased a few sheets of the 12 x 12 paper, and a bag of the chipboard collectables and for all the cards I made I only added some trim and kindyglitz for texture and sparkle.I edged around all my edges with Tea Dye distress ink as some of the background papers got lost next to each other, and inked edges helps solve that problem. This morning I am off to teach my class at Paper Flourish and I am so looking forward to catching up with everyone! Til tomorow….

Kaisercraft Ooh La La 3..

img_3297-mediumStraight away I must confess this is not my design..it is the design of my good friend Mandii, who designed it for the Class in a box kit that I bought from Paper Flourish.I don’t usually do the designs suggested in the box, I go off on a tangent and do my own thing, but I fell in love with this one of Mandiis. Everything on the card was in the box, and of course the main item is the gorgeous Kaisercraft Ooh La la papers. This is the last with this paper for now, I have many more waiting to be photographed so we will be returning to it soon, but next up on the blog list is some more Christmas cards, we are getting to the end of them now! Today is my little puppy’s first birthday so i must go and make a fuss of her…til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Ooh La La 2..

img_3299-mediumMy second Kaisercraft Ooh La La cards, still using the papers from the 6″ pad for the background layers – they were the leftover pieces from the first card..and the inner layer is from a sheet of 12 a 12 paper, as is the flower which I fussy cut.kaisercraft pearls, ribbon and a sentiment from the sheet in the class kit from Paper Flourish to finish.I am going to venture into the craft room this morning for an hour, no die cutting, but I will see if I can make at least one simple card ..it’s that or go crazy!! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisecraft Ooh La La..!.

img_3296-mediumThis is the first card I made with kaisercraft Ooh La La paper collection. I love this collection and bought the Paper Flourish Class in a box because it had all the 12 x 12 papers as well as a lot of other bits and pieces that match in with the papers. I also purchased the 6″ pad and another pack of collectables to extend the set.I am so glad I did because it’s the only collection I have been able to use in my craft room while I am not able to use my shoulder. I haven’t needed to do any die cutting as there is enough in the collection to keep things interesting. Anyway this one uses papers from the 6″ pad,a sentiment and ric rac from the box,and some punched leaves and flowers from Kaisercraft and Green Tara.Til tomorrow….

Another Mens card

img_3294-mediumI made this card for an order..I die cut an oval and using the waste part I inked through it onto the base card with green and blue inks. I stamped a stampin up cricket set onto various scraps of cardstock and fussy cut the images, and stuck them onto the base card . I kept it all very simple as that is what my customer wanted, and I really like this one!Back to work this week after my holidays, and taking things very easy with my shoulder! til tomorrow….

New mens card!

img_3292-medium I have a couple of Mens cards to show, so today we will start off with the side stepper card I made with some new dies from a new company, Paper rose. They are a South Australian company, and I couldn’t wait to try out the tool dies and the pegboard die. They cut beautifully, and I will be adding some more of their dies to my growing collection! The instruction for my side stepper card is on my You tube channel, you can find the link on the right hand side of my blog. The sentiment is a kaisercraft die, and the rest is just strips of cardstock to mimic the tool drawers. Til tomorrow….

Great Grand Daughter cards

img_3546-mediumBefore I went on Holidays I had an order for 6 Great grand daughter cards, so I thought I would show you all 3 of them…the main embellishment on all of them are images from a 3d sheet which I fussy cut and layered up, and used corresponding colours to complete. All the papers used were just scraps from my stash, and I had to print out the great grand daughter on my printer as I have no stamps or stickers for great grand daughter! It’s a lovely day here, I have been sitting in the garden, but now I am off to the craft room to do some tidying up..til tomorrow….

Stampin Up Star of light

img_3531-mediumThe third and Final Village card was one made with almost all Stampin Up supplies. The Stamp set is Star of light and I also used the matching die set. I stamped little stamps in blue sky ink before running the layer through a stampin up embossing folder. This one is a very simple card with very little embellishment. I have managed to make a few cards over the last couple of days, pacing myself and staying right away from the die cutting machine!Thank goodness for Kaisercraft ooh La La paper collection – no need for dies with this collection! Til tomorrow….

Second village card

img_3530-mediumThis card is the second village card I made with the ladies a couple of weeks ago.The cardstock is Stampin up, and the glitter die cut is a kaisercraft die and kaisercraft gliter card. The Merry Christmas and the pointsetta dies are Kaisercraft.I backed the glitter flourish circle with a plain die cut circle, and scattered a bit of bling. I have ventured into the craft room today, die cutting is out of the question, but the lure of so many new papers that I haven’t been able to play with is too much! I am creating with Kaisercraft Ooh La la, – I bought a class in a box from paper Flouirsh and there are enough bits and pieces in the box that I don’t need to die cut anything so it’s all good. Til tomorrow…
